Obama should just airstrike the cops and looters both for terrorism. Screw it. (just kidding) Just dont hit any peaceful protesters.
Hmmm so curfew= You cant be on your private property...

Pay attention to what the video says.
ANd pAy attention to what was already provided.
“Last night’s curfew — I think everybody worked well,” Nixon said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We’re always disappointed when things aren’t perfect. But thousands of people spoke last night, thousands of people marched, and [there was] not a single gunshot fired by a member of law enforcement last night.”
Where was the looting and property damage that the curfew was put in place to prevent?
Where?
If everyone is outside at 2 a.m. it becomes difficult for the police to do their job protecting businesses because their attention to spread to thin. And of course they need to assume in that situation that everyone is innocent.
The whole point of a curfew is to separate those intent on breaking the law from peaceful people. It is not a permanent regime. The government asks people to stay off the street to give a situation time to settle and to make it more clear for the government who the instigators are --- those who are out on the street during curfew, presumably, are up to no good.
I don't have much problem with these arrests.
Sitting in a car, in someone elses driveway isn't, "being at home"
Hmmmm so everything is gov property now? If a gov declares what they did where can I go? Can they do know whatever they want? They can come in?Why not someone else's private property? What about people that don't own property, they're busted ay?
Yes, DemSoc. Everything is gov property. Communism. You didn't get the memo? I'm pretty sure Obama tweeted it.Hmmmm so everything is gov property now?
Whatever they want. Absolutely anything. Ah well, when it comes to rights, the gov giveth and it taketh away. Good luck in the apocalypse. Can they do know whatever they want?
:dohThe curfew is meant to keep people in their houses. Guess what it didn't do? Keep people in their houses. They were out like they always are when the government sets a curfew and doing what they do. Cities all over the country set curfews and not only are they ignored, but they have been shown to have no effect on crime.
Why do you keep speaking nonsense. Nonsense of an argument you can't even support and one that this isn't even about?Hmmm so curfew= You cant be on your private property...

Wolverines.
So someone out on their lawn/driveway at 2AM is looking for trouble? That's the whole problem with this. These people are being peaceful, right on their own property, where they are supposed to be during a curfew. They are not out on the streets.
If I am at a relative's house because that is where I am staying, then yes it is being at home. He was at least going to be there overnight, especially since he couldn't go home that night due to the curfew. They all had to be staying there that night. So yes that is well within the intent of the curfew.
****! When was this ordered!?! There had to be at least a band!
Fine, you can be in the band but you gotta carry ammo.
No it does not. It means stay off public streets and way. Like I said. A 10 year old could be sitting on their porch at 2 a.m. and if there is a child curfew in the town the cops cant do crap about it.
People are breaking the law.
government: I know, how about another law. Those people that are willing to ignore the law will obey the law now.
This reminds me of gun control.
Hmmm so curfew= You cant be on your private property...
it doesn't sound anything like a Nazi camp. Nazis rounds up millions of people and murdered them. this sounds like cops ****ing up. big difference.
You cannot be outside. Is that too difficult a concept for you?
You all keep saying "it's the law, it's the law!" but no one has yet shown where this law is. If it's law it is written down somewhere. That is what I asked in the first place. Show me where in the law you have to be in the physical structure usually called a house upon your property.
Those people that are willing to ignore the law will obey the law now.
It certainly makes them easier to identify, and it gives Police the necessary tools to keep the peace. That is why a curfew is a completely different instrument than most other laws. You usually have some interesting things to say, but I think you're way off on this one...
And you were already told they were charged with failure to disperse.
So if you want the law you seek, I suggest you look it up on your own. Is that to difficult for you?
