Either way - it's very sad. He could be a very funny man.

Depression? Robin Williams? Sheesh - they were even talking about a Mrs. Doubtfire 2. :(

The cocaine use was from the 80's, it's been alcohol lately as a result of depression.

I dont know how well known his work with the USO and supporting the troops is. He was amazing. Amazing. He took time to shake hands and pose with any and everyone that wanted to, and worked his ass off on the stage. Amazing. Tragic. Peace to his family.

Sadly I believe suicide.

I read an interview just before Crazy Ones started.

Evidentially he was damn near broke from his second divorce which cost him 30M.

His agent stated that he had been very depressed, and had entered rehab about 2 months ago.

Damn shame.

Wikipedia says that he was depressed recently, can anyone confirm? For some reason, now Google isn't being responsive when I try and search something.

He was a humble soul. He seemed like the kind of guy who never had a negative word to say about anyone!

So sad. Mork & Mindy was one of my favorite shows in my childhood. He was one very funny man, but I always suspected his comedic talent was somehow rooted in some darkness. I hope he rests well and makes them laugh in Heaven. I know he will.
