That's because most White children who come from money are enrolled in private schools to be segregated from students 'of color' for all the obvious reasons.........

The racial mix of schools or other populations isn't important as long as there truly is a melting pot. Of course, there isn't a melting pot and thats a problem. These days, immigrants (illegal and otherwise) form balkanized neighborhoods with no seeming interest in assimilation. In so cal, you probably find a hispanics neighborhood with spanish language billboards, advertising, stores etc.. If you don't bother to learn they language you're not going to be successful.

My gardner is an immigrant with a thriving business. He speaks english all enough to communicate with his customers. His son, a second generation immigrant is going to UCSD. My pool guy, on the other hand, can't speak english, has a small customer base and his business seems to struggle.

If you don't assimilate you'll create generations of poor, fringe people who will always be at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder.

I'd like to see where you got that steaming pile from... back in WWII the Chinese and Russians were not at war with each other. Both the Germans and Russians were quite happy to starve to death millions of civilians and POWs, I doubt the Chinese plan has a snowball's chance....

When groups of people convert to agriculture from being nomadic hunter gatherers their quality of life, population levels, nutrition and health get significantly worse for quite a while (a few generations) until they develop their agriculture techniques to an adequate level of effectiveness.

It is so ironic that in my short lifetime, 60+ years, we have gone from a nation that discriminates to a nation that realized that discrimination on the basis of race is morally reprehensible to a nation that seems to be saying, Hey Whitey, you are about to become a minority and you better watch out".

Personally, I always supported the middle concept. Racism is wrong. Yet apparently we have divided the nation into their racial groups and know that the groups with the power and numbers can do what they want.

We have lost our idealism. MLK, Jr. is dead and his dream is dead. All that remains is a majority that wants to control things for their benefit.

I would have no problem being a minority in a country that lives up to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and MLK, Jr.'s dreams.

I'm not sure that is exactly true. I believe that they benefit quickly, but only because their hunter-gathering lifestyle is no longer suitable due to environmental (not necessarily climactic in nature) changes.

After all, why would they go to all the effort that agriculture requires (plowing, weeding, irrigating, planting, etc) when they could simply spend a few hours a day gathering stuff as they wandered around *unless* gathering and hunting was no longer providing them sufficiently?

Yes, I was there yesterday and saw plenty of English signage and plenty of people speaking English. And I'm in La Puente, talk about Latino community, and still 2nd generation are fluent in English, go to pubic school, have iphones and other American culture items,... there is one small grocery that is predominately Spanish language products, but the people working there speak English and have no problem helping an ignorantly uni-lingual 'merican like me. There are also two other grocers same within a block or so that are just your normal Vons or Food4Less or Walmart Marketplace so it's not like I can't go somewhere else just as easily. My printer about three blocks away is Iranian, and there are dozens of Asian owned restaurants throughout.

I think you just try to focus on things that offend you and are way too easily offended.

Most of the Hispanics where I live speak fluent English. Never had a problem communicating with any of them.

I do admit though that I like when hot Hispanic girls speak Spanish ;)

Good post Eric, I fully agree. However, the ideals of MLK today are not fully embraced, but rather cherry picked to use as a hammer to foment racism ironically by the very people Dr. King was addressing.
 
Nonwhites are more guilty of not paying off student loans, majoring in useless and easy majors, not getting hired and going on welfare. The entire college culture is a vast sea of ineptitude and the latest facts are one is typically better off not finishing and applying time on the job or going to a technical two year program and again applying that time to time on the job. I can send my kid to Canada for $6,000/yr vs. $60,000/yr. at Harvard.

The authors of Sex at Dawn (excllent book BTW) report that the archeological evidence shows significantly worse nutrition and reduced populations duing the early generations of agrarian living after abandoning the hunter/gathering life. It does not get into the environmental pressures that might have led to the abandonment of hunting/gathering. My guess is that rising human population levels may also be a factor.

Those countries have had many changes and ups and downs over the centuries, just as every western nation has. They have made many major technological acheivements and they are currently thriving economically, all without a significant Christian influence.

You're assuming that all of these minority kids come from welfare homes that don't pay taxes that go on to pay for public schools. Why is it that when minorities are going to public schools it's "burdening the system" and when white kids do it, it's a great thing?

And your post doesn't even mention if there is a large uptick in the total number of kids, only that they aren't all white.

I can't believe that posts like these are even allowed on these forums quite honestly.

im not sure what your concern is at all.
I myself want a better border but this has no impact on my concern at all on any level whatsoever.

Why on god green earth is it an issue that minority students all together may soon or already do have the majority of population 50.2 over 49.8???

thats meaningless to me and nothing i care about lol
whites (however they are defined) are still the majority race/races

is this what america was always going to be?

I mean if you want to talk about borders im all game but this is meaningless to me.
