America's Fed Up: Obama Approval Rating Hits All-Time Low, Poll Shows [W:256]

Im still waiting for you to post this claim I made??? .... Here let me help you walk this back, Yeah man sorry I just made that up... my bad.

And we're waiting for you quote him claiming you made a claim

The claim he referred to was the one the OP made.

Yeah, you have a point...We have to still suffer Carter and his utterly stupid, terrorist support today, I can only hope that Obama when he is done ****ing up the country, that he just goes away...I really can't stand to watch him speak anymore....I now understand how hard left liberals felt at the end of Bush's term.....

Carter's damage was widespread and almost 40 years later seems to still be around.

I also know now how the Libs felt at the end of the Bush era. I can't wait to see Obama go.

Right now I'd say Carter was the worst in my lifetime, Reagan was the best. Too early to predict where Obama will end up on the historical lists. Down at the bottom, I suspect, but worst ever? Too soon. We have to wait for the ME & Russia situations to play out, have to wait until the ACA is fully implemented, have to wait to see what the CFPB will do to the country, etc.

He is a pretty awful President so far, that I see.

When you think of Obama, what is the first thing you think of?

With most Presidents there is a major event or at least something he did that comes to mind.

Incompetent narcissistic liar, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. So I'll say "Cambridge police acting stupidly". It takes stupid to know stupid.

Do you think Obama is capable of just going away?

It looks like he craves the cameras and a crowd licking his ass.

I think we are going to see more of him after his presidency than we do now, if that is possible.

I stopped listening to his speeches a couple of years ago. It is always the same blaming and it gets tedious.

He's way too arrogant to simply fade away.

That is my point.

What you think of happened very early in his first term.

Other than the joke he seems to be now, learning about everything from the news, there is nothing he has done, done is an important word, lately that we would associate with him.

He's way too arrogant to simply fade away.

No matter what is happening in his administration or the world he cannot resist a fund raiser or to get in front of a microphone to make comments.

I would bet he would take a job with a left leaning news channel for a lot of money. That would diminish the office of the Presidency but I don't think he would be concerned about that.

Well sangha after looking at said post it seems you are correct, and I stand corrected.

He likes being a pretend rock star. He adores moonbats crying in his presence, and people tossing their underwear at his feet like housewives at a Tom Jones concert.

No, he doesn't care about diminishing the office of the Presidency. Again, he's too arrogant for that. It's all about him. No chance that he will fade into the sunset like Reagan & GWB did, and to some degree, GHWB too.

Do you think we will see Michelle rise from the ashes of his presidency?

The whole media thing I could have believed in the early 2000s and before, but that excuse cannot be used now. There are internet sites, radio, satellite, etc. People CAN be informed and they choose not to. That is not the media's fault, that is the people's fault.

Cherry picking only in the sense that the right track/wrong track in your quote appeared to be attributed to Obama only (you didn't mention the whole question or that it included congress). If that wasn't your intent intentionally I withdraw the cherry picking comment.

I agree its not good. It hasn't been good for going on 14 years now which includes the presidents and congresses along with that. I'm not on the "blame Bush" waggon, there is PLENTY of blame to go around for both the Reps and Dems.

Both sides have done it. When Bush was in office, many on the right were blaming Clinton or that the Left wasn't patriotically support Bush in Iraq. With Obama it is the same thing with the left, they blamed Bush for many things even 6 years into it.

However, what I still find most damaging is that people STILL don't realize that the Dem/Reps have let us down and they continue to support them.

You know I will give you a lot of respect. You are probably one of the most unbiased posters I've encountered on DP. You will give both sides s*** when they deserve it.

God help us. She's worse than he is.

Before Obama became President Michelle was an outspoken strong woman and for the past 6 years she has been made to keep her mouth shut, which is out of character for her.

I think after he is out she is going to explode onto the scene in one way or another.

I'll even go one further...I think it is a shame what Obama has done to the chance that another Black candidate gets a chance to be President in our lifetime....

But according to the right that shouldn't be a problem if race is not a factor anymore right ????

So you're conceding the Presidency in 2016 already eh? Thanks.

Recent history would say that a Republican will win. Just over the last 100 years, a party hanging on after 8 years only happened twice if you throw out the FDR years as an aberration. Hoover and Bush I are the only ones to pull that off. Nixon couldn't do it in 1960, not Humphrey in '68, Ford in '76, Gore in '00 or McCain in '08.

You don't have to wait - all you have to do is look back to 2001 when GWB took office and had all kinds of problems going forward. I don't recall a single time when President Bush spoke into a microphone and said it was Clinton's fault or Clinton did this or didn't do that. He was his own President for better or worse. And he's carried that over to Obama's Presidency, refusing to make any comments on the job Obama is doing.

I can't guarantee it, but I'm hopeful the next President in 2017 will be in the Bush mold, not the Clinton/Obama mold.

Maybe not the man himself, but I'm fairly certain that his apologists on this board will.

Bush left in shame and ruins at 22%, it wasn't just "libs" that couldn't wait to see his departure, much like many of Obama's original base support have grown weary with him. Exiting the Oval Office as Clinton did in the 60's isn't an easy task. Technological advances have made it more difficult for the government to keep dirty deeds secret and Americans are increasingly wary. Also there is exhaustion from holding ones nose so to speak, and voting for the lesser of two evils. Many on the right felt there vote for Romney was just that, as did many on the left with Obama.

So Dr. Carson has no chance then?

Why would Obama's Presidency have any effect on black candidates going forward? Did Jimmy Carter ruin it for white guys?

Have you seen another peanut farmer with a shot at a nomination? Community organizer is going to be a death sentence going forward.

Never has a lesser man sat in that seat. That became painfully obvious a long time ago.

Andrew Johnson was almost illiterate. Know your history, man!

"Community organizer" perhaps, but not "black person."

Of course, I haven't seen any actors since Reagan, so....

I never voted for the lesser of 2 evils. I voted for who I wanted to win the election.

I wasn't ashamed of Bush.

A President's legacy isn't decided on the day he leaves office, nor is it decided by polls.

Andrew Johnson was almost illiterate. Know your history, man!

And yet my statement still stands. The lesions on this country left by Obama will take decades to heal.
