Ohio's 4th largest city has no drinking water

Yup - one of the causes is farmer's fertilizer and chemical runoff from crops.

You like food?

How dare the crops need water too.

Us evil humans.... All this "green" food doesn't grow without water.

There is the basic problem though that since this is Lake Erie water, the chances that some of the runoff comes from Canada are pretty good.

I had no idea Canada gets a monopoly on water. IMO,we have done too much for the Canadians.

None of the runoff comes from Canada? I'll have to check my maps, but last time I looked, the whole far shore of Lake Erie was Canada.

How foolish.

It's not the water, it's the chemicals applied to the crops that leech into the soil.

Damn Canadians!

Are you still having to guess at what's being said? Why aren't you in summer school?

Then tell us what you're saying. What Obama spent money on outside of this is not the topic. So it's either a nonsequitur because there has to be a way to blame Obama or it was perfectly fine before Obama ruined it. Which is it?

Yup - there is always an alternative cost for anything that is done.

There is a cost for every action, few just understand that concept.

Guess who said this: "Will reinvigorate the drinking water standards that have been weakened under the Bush administration and update them to address new threats. Will help communities by restoring better federal financing for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, and will continue leadership in protecting national treasures like the Great Lakes from threats such as industrial pollution, water diversion, and invasive species. And will establish policies to help high-growth regions with the challenges of managing their water supplies."

You obviously listen to him more than I do. I guess we know who really does worship him now.

Senate GOP kills $60B Obama infrastructure plan

Thank God the Republicans are fixing it...

Ooohhh! Look at who's pretending that he wants the president to fix this :lamo

What is the 4th largest city in Ohio anyway? Dayton?

Toledo is the 4th largest city, Akron is 5th Dayton is 6th. But you can add up Cleveland, Cincy and Toledo and just beat Columbus. ;)

You obviously listen to him more than I do. I guess we know who really does worship him now.

I know you don't listen and, as we have seen, you don't like to read either. Are you familiar with the term 'Low Information Voter'?

Ooohhh! Look at who's pretending that he wants the president to fix this :lamo

Well he did promise so why shouldn't he be expected to follow through?

I never took him seriously at the time, and still don't, but many gullibles did and a hard core 28% still feel he is doing a good job. I never expected him to clean the water any more than have those shovel ready jobs. Blame the low info voters, aka los stupidos, for this debacle.

SO now you're pretending that you expected a politician to keep his promises!!! :lamo

Are you new to politics?

No.

Are you new to politics?

If the Senate is not controlled by Democrats why is Dingy Harry Reid in charge over there?

Care to tell us all who is in charge in the Senate?

Obama apparently, that or Reid or Pelosi - the zombies.

Ironically it's almost a rhetorical question.
