Who: Ebola moving faster than control efforts

Why do you assume lies? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are serious institutions, manned by responsible scientists. If there is a case of Ebola in the United States, the outbreak would be better controlled with the public knowing about it and taking precautions rather than running blindly into possible contagious sources.

It is easier to lighten the blow by parsing words or downplaying issues then confronting the problem. CDC is a Government institution part of Health and Humane Services. It's a political (run by President's Admin) agency.

If Ebola was in the US, panic would happen. If 20 cases showed up in NYC you'd have everyone in their mother getting tested and taxing hospital services. That's human nature.

Why does everything slide so easily into some conspiracy theory? Why do you think the CDC would hide this information from the public? We are in America, not in China.

Government ALWAYS hides information from the public, doesn't matter if it's China or America. They all do it. To hold a position that America never would do that... is ignoring the history of the US doing it. Think about it US Government (CDC and Army's facility at Fort Detrick) is using a serum it's been working on for years for those two Ebola patients in Atlanta.. but not once did they offer to those in Africa.

But is MSM reporting and what do people wrongly believe? That you can only get it from direct contact. CDC is telling airlines something different.

I think that if the CDC reports that someone has tested negative for Ebola, the only reason for the report is that... the person has actually tested negative for Ebola. Simple, no? No reason for conspiracy theories.

And I said it takes days (up to 10 days) for an accurate test. This is scientific fact. But they are denying or confirming in less then 24 hours. That's a joke.

The moment someone tests positive, that is what will be reported. One doesn't combat an outbreak with lies, but rather with facts and public education.

One doesn't combat and outbreak by allowing flight/shippings from that region to the US on a daily basis either. You can't have it both ways. You can't say they'll be truthful but ignore their own advice about methods of travel and allow the disease to come to the US via flight/shipping.
