Oh, so I guess racism is over that's a relief. Nobody ramps up the hate for illegal immigration due to racism. Never happens. Phew.

There are plenty of Americans from all political persuasion that aren't interested in people illegally entering our country. It really doesn't matter what their politics are.

I disagree. It's a legal issue, not a racial issue. You think the protesters would be ok with this if it was tens of thousands (if there are that many, lol) of Icelanders crossing our southern border ILLEGALLY?

Oh sure, I'm sure that there is a racial component. To everyone that is a part of the KKK and Stormfront. But those people make up the minority. The majority of people against illegal immigration does so due to them breaking the law, wage depression, cost in resources etc etc. The majority don't give two craps about race.

What really irritates me about these claims is that 1: in this particular case the cop doesn't even know who the heck did it. Doesn't even have a clue to who did it. So how the hell can he say that it was racial hatred that caused this? 2: More in general to the whole "racist" comments by those that are pro-illegal....Those that are anti-illegal alien make up far more than just one race. This particular issue is a good example of the race card being used way too damn much.

How is the statement an attack on the Constitution? Would not a statement that would implicitly support the enforcement of existing laws against illegal immigration be Constitutional? Given that this was done by a person who has no government authority, should this not be considered free speech?

Since the graffiti has no words expressing race or ethnicity then one must give a benefit of doubt to the scribblier until he is caught and has shown such tendencies.

Thr attack on free speech is coming from the state police.
