GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information...[W:220, 325]

I was thinking about that the other day.

If he honestly brought in UN troops, I think it would be the straw the broke the Carmels back

I think we would see a armed insurrection in this Country.

Literally Millions of Law abiding Americans taking control of their own communities around the Nation.

Local Police departments would be overwhelmed in an instant and I dont think they would pick Obama over people in their communities they've know for years.

I don't think we're that far off from that happening right now.

I'm not advocating this, just pretty sure its in our near future.

It would solve the illegal alien problem too, as millions of illegals would show their loyalty by bailing out on fheq prospect of armed conflict.

The amount of Guns and ammunition thats been purchased over the last 6 years is unprecedented.

Liberals seem to ignore this for some reason.

Millions of Americans are arming up, lets just hope it doesn't come to that

That's the only obstacle I see for him to take over: what to do about the 100 million+ gun owners in the country. Even with the pockets of loyalists, it will still mean a huge chunk of terrain to attempt to dominate. If the UN put troops in the field, they would be at a significant disadvantage because they would be operating in unfamiliar territory. It'll be bloody, for sure.

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

In the context of the IRS Inspector General's findings and the resulting Congressional interest? You bet. I infer you've never worked in the federal government.
Sorry jack, you've burned your credibility a long time ago.:2wave:

Not sure why you'd say that. I've never posted anything inaccurate and I provided a link to support this exchange. You're going to have to do better than waving your arms and tossing insults.

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

you are wrong again

my (former) employing federal agency even agreed to non-excessive personal use of the computer/email system

but share with us the government wide standing orders that are the opposite of learner's admonition

You've mixed up two statements. The "Personal use" arguement is being made by the Lerner defenders as an excuse for what she was talking about. Obviously this was not the case or she would have said that.

The standing orders for email use are the preserve all business related emails as public record. Federal Employees are clearly trained yearly on what is a public record and what is a private conservation. The private conversation emails can (and should) be deleted. What Lerner is talking about is record emails because those are the only emails that are supposed to be preserved and would be the subject of a subpoena.

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

Since it's in the context of the IRS IG report and known Congressional interest, it cannot look like anything but trying to evade oversight. There's not a General Counsel anywhere in the USG who would not have a fit over this.
Thanks for the BS answer Jack.

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

Why would the head of an IRS department be worried about that especially in April of 2013?

Why wouldn't she?

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

Thanks for the BS answer Jack.

Everything you don't like isn't BS. You're just on the wrong side of this one, so more and more developments may look like BS to you.:peace

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

We just need to set an example about abuse of authority and clean house at the IRS, and other agencies when such abuse of authority occurs.

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

Because there is Congressional oversight into their admitted targeting of Conservative groups, they now need to be cautious about what they say in Emails.

Lol !! That doesn't NEED to be distorted .

Except that you left out that the source of the targeting has already been determined and dealt with. It came from 1 IRS supervisor who is no longer with the IRS....and he was a registered Republican.

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

By definition, Republicans aren't non-partisan. By experience, we know they will attack and destroy anyone who they can to get what they want.

So do the Democrats. Same ****, different name.

It does not make a right. But yes, it can lead to one.

Mostly, it's just angry. :)

Yeah well the day the Democrats stop calling out the Republicans for doing wrong will not be a good one.

Nonsense...That was distraction....Funny you are still sticking to the false narrative of rouge agents in Cincinnati...You either think everyone is stupid, or that you can pull this lie off.

No, I am sticking with the evidence and testimony and ignoring made up, pie in the sky "theories".

Yeah well the day the Democrats stop calling out the Republicans for doing wrong will not be a good one.

And vice - versa would equally apply. Basis is in the adversarial political system that we have, by design no less. Both parties should be keeping the other party honest, and it actually works sometime.

The magic republican in Cincinnati starting this has been debunked long ago

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

At the point Lerner said this, why would she think the emails were going to be subpoenaed by Congress?

Is that a natural assumption by every head of a department in the IRS? I wouldn't think so.

She appeared before a senate committee months before. There was considerable talk on the hill before that wanting to investigate the IRS on their lax enforcement of the ban political groups posing as 501c4's. It doesn't take a genius. It's funny to see you guys bend over backwards to put things in the worst possible light while ignoring the obvious.

Don't you think Lerner would have realized when she was writing that email that it could also be made public? It's like the right wingers live in a universe where everyone they disagree with is Dr. Evil..One part evil genius, one part bumbling fool.

Of course. Everyone should be checking everyone to make sure they stay within the laws. Sadly the voters have been negligent in their duties.

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

Emails missing, cautioning to be careful what to say on emails, pleading the 5th. I just can't see anything remotely suspicious here. Maybe some boneheaded decisions were made etc.

What we need to be suspicious of is a GOP that doesn't care about education and birth control sigh.

I will have to assume your post was sarcastic.

Re: GOP: Lerner warned IRS employees to hide information from Congress

Why wouldn't she?

Because more than any department the IRS is supposed to be non-partisan.

Sadly, the voters have been fed misinformation for the last 6 to 7 years.

The news media has done a woeful job of speak truth to power and holding all branches of the government accountable through their accurate and factual news reporting.
