New York Healthcare Premiums Are About To Explode

Bolded is wildly incorrect.

Second line: I want them to have more public goods managed by the public. I also want them to fear the "Proles' " guns to keep them on the "straight and narrow".

I think you need to look up the world liberal for my context, friend.

As for Holder. I hate him.

Liberal Interpretation Law & Legal Definition
<snip>
In re K.M., 274 Ill. App. 3d 189 (Ill. App. Ct. 1995), the court observed that “The term "liberal," in the context of statutory construction and interpretation, is often used to signify an interpretation which produces broader coverage or more inclusive application of statutory concepts. What is called a liberal construction is ordinarily one which makes a statute apply to more things or in more situations than would be the case under strict construction.”
<snip>

There are many meanings for the word "liberal".

In legal circles, a "liberal Interpretation" means that the law is pretty much a platform from which to start the consideration. If you think the law means exactly what it says and no more or less, that is not a liberal interpretation.

"Goods managed by the public"... Golly, that sounds noble. What exactly is "the public"?

You seem to be me about 35 years ago. I was a Conservative, but of the mind that I must be a Liberal because only bad people are Conservatives.

You only need to understand what the words mean.

What exactly is your contention?

I was a Communist when I was 15, a Libertarian from 16, a Liberal by 18 and a Socialist by 19.

I want the 2nd Amendment read more Liberally so the American public can have access to tanks and MANPADs so as to self-form an actually effective militia in times of National Security Duress.

How old are you right now?

Do you have a link for that?

Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After his inauguration, Obama announced to a joint session of Congress in February 2009 his intent to work with Congress to construct a plan for healthcare reform.[70][71] By July, a series of bills were approved by committees within the House of Representatives.[72] On the Senate side, from June to September, the Senate Finance Committee held a series of 31 meetings to develop a healthcare reform bill. This group — in particular, Democrats Max Baucus, Jeff Bingaman, and Kent Conrad, and Republicans Mike Enzi, Chuck Grassley, and Olympia Snowe — met for more than 60 hours, and the principles that they discussed, in conjunction with the other committees, became the foundation of the Senate's healthcare reform bill.

Became the foundation for and "wrote it" are very different things.

Not very different at all

"Became the foundation" means that they wrote the text of the bill in its' original form. Tha text, however, did not become the final bill because it subjected to numerous amendments, some of which were submitted by (and voted in favor of by) republicans

Since the bill in its' final form is a comglomeration of original text (written by both dems and repubs) and a collection of amendments (also written by both dems and repubs) it is untrue to claim that any one person or party wrote the bill.

How old are you right now?

21 at the moment, 5 more months until 22.

Feel old, but then again half of your life is had, in reference to relative importance, by 25.

(As in your fifth year of life from 4th is 25% of everything you know, obviously you can extrapolate the scientific inference. It's actually one of the major problems with humans obtaining extremely long life times, by the time we'd turn 100 the time would fly incredibly fast. From the individual's perspective, anyways.)

Actually, ACA was written by a committee of six Senators, three of whom were Republicans

Wrong again... Nearly all of the legislation that was approved, voted on and is now Obamacare was written by Democrats.

Even if a few republicans took part in writing the law, not one of them voted yes in the congress or the senate.

Just face it, democrats are the sole, 100% owners of Obamacare and no matter how hard you spin this, that will never change. It's a steaming pile of agenda driven crap dumped on America's front lawn that stinks more every day, that republicans are going to have to eventually clean up because democrats won't do the responsible thing and clean up their own mess.

I have already posted links which prove that republicans not only wrote portions of the bill, but also voted for them in Congress,

How many Republicans in the house and senate combined voted for the passage of that legislation?

That would be a big fat 0.

You can not blame republicans for a law that not one of them voted for... Unless you're a liberal, then of course that probably make perfect sense.

I lived in New York prior to the ACA passage and my premiums were already going up double digits.

Oh well if they only wrote it and didn't vote for it, that's fine then. No responsibility!

The issue being discussed was "who wrote the law". I have proven that members of both parties wrote sections of the law.

Changing the subject to "who voted for it?" won't change the fact the republicans helped write the law.

Who's responsible for Obamacare becoming law?
Answer: Democrats

How many Republicans from the House and Senate endorsed the passage of Obamacare, and voted "Yes" to the legislation?
Answer: 0 Republicans from the House, and 0 Republicans from the Senate.

What party is 100% responsible for the train wreck known as The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) becoming law?
Answer: Democrats.

Democrats, liberals, progressives, socialists, communists, President Obama and every other fringe leftist group who supported Obamacare, owns Obamacare... Why don't you all take responsibility for your achievement the same way you did the day congress passed the bill on that 100% partisan vote and smiled as they shoved it down the American people's throats? You all were certainly bragging about it that day, as you celebrated your asses off at it's passage. Remember how those of us on the right sounded the alarm and you all laughed and dismissed us?

Well it's all yours people... Be proud and embrace it.

I don't know why it's so hard for you to admit that I am right when I say that republicans helped write it

No, it's why we need less government involvement in healthcare especially if the hikes are linked to the ACA.

Considering that healthcare costs have been going up faster than inflation for decades, then how exactly is less government the solution?

All of the amendments that you list as being a part of the House bill sent to the Senate are moot since that bill was never voted on by the Senate. In still another deceptive, borderline illegal tactic, the Senate used a different bill entirely and attaché its own version of the ACA to it.

Senate
The Senate began work on its own proposals while the House was still working on the Affordable Health Care for America Act. Instead, the Senate took up H.R. 3590, a bill regarding housing tax breaks for service members.[90] As the United States Constitution requires all revenue-related bills to originate in the House,[91] the Senate took up this bill since it was first passed by the House as a revenue-related modification to the Internal Revenue Code. The bill was then used as the Senate's vehicle for their healthcare reform proposal, completely revising the content of the bill.[92]

The was, however, one amendment that was proposed by Tom Coburn and harry Reid tabled it.

Congressional Record - 111th Congress (2009-2010) - THOMAS (Library of Congress)

Another moot point.

No Republican amendments were used and no Republicans voted for this.

This is not to claim any moral authority for the Republicans. It is is only more evidence that in this particular instance, the Democrats acted alone and did so with intention and impudence.

You're so young...

And this is why we should have a Nationalized Healthcare System

:doh

LOL !

Without getting into the obvious failures of Central planning, how would a Country with open borders pay for that ?

Hell, even if Obama enforced our immigration laws how would we pay for it ?

Umm, the link I posted explicitly states that the amendments were amendments to that House bill H.R. 3590

Here's the link again

See where it says "Amends: H.R.3590"?

That means those amendments were amendments to HR 3590 and it shows that there were many amendments submitted and sponsored by republicans

Who will pay premiums for the illegal immigrant children?

and all the other illegal aliens, and all the unemployed, and all who still can't afford to pay for health insurance.
