Protesters block buses carrying undocumented immigrants in California

Perhaps Texmex is, himself, part of the problem and not part of the solution.

I didn't come here illegally, but my wife did.

Are you going to take some into your own home or did you mean you were more interested in having others pay for your demanded humanitarian aid?

I've had one in my house for years!

Blah blah, hatred for Obama, clouding judgement, etc. etc.

Americanwoman provided a dubious report from McClatchy from over 3 years ago that blamed NAFTA for corn imports that caused millions of illegal alien farmers to enter the US. That's absurd. I live in Southern California, I'm not seeing former corn farmers among the millions of illegal aliens living across the region.

So, since your finger pointing while not finger pointing, what's the plan?

You have no idea what the illegal immigrants coming into your neighbourhoods did in Mexico. And if NAFTA had been the boom for the Mexican worker as promised, then they wouldn't be leaving for America. And the fair and balanced finger pointing is directed at both parties that have failed for 60 years to secure our borders. Blaming this all on Obama, or just the Democratic Party is immature.

The current crisis is not about Mexico. The current crisis involves unaccompanied minor children from Central America.

That is the issue before America right now. From the polls it appears that your opinion is going to be in the minority. For that, you can thank Obama's latest busing from Central America scheme.
I'd rather live around lively ethnic minorities any day, rather than white-bread, homogenized, stone faced ghosts who dine at Ann Sathers.

Can we count on you to keep that promise?

Toronto has pockets of these all over the city with an Asian influx being the most recent trend. The various cultures is part of what makes my city great.

As long as people coming from different lands don't bring their crime or the political problems of their homeland with them, I welcome all of them here in Canada.
Toronto is a fine town. I've spent a lot of time there. My buddy now lives there. My only issues is you're lacking in real Mexican food up there and your alcohol prices are too high. I dig Toronto's China town though. Damn them for not assimilating!

^^^^^^^^^^^^ Doesn't get more racist than that.

Run along and go enjoy your Meatloaf and Mac and cheese.

Actually, I had a big bowl of fresh gazpacho after I mowed, and now I'm eating Spanish rice. Don't tell. I may lose my Kentucky card if anyone finds out. :lamo

I see. You claim I have no idea what the illegal immigrants coming to my neighborhoods did, but you claim they were corn farmers.

The current wave of illegal immigrants, and the massive increase over the last 6 years, is directly attributable to policies pushed by the Obama Administration and it's backers and supporters. These policies have have enticed further efforts to get here. To believe otherwise is not only immature, but foolish.

This may already be up, and I do have some catching up to do later today.

OK, well, we are beginning to see the civil unrest we all knew would occur in the Obama administration.

Although I have been to the southwest, I have never crossed into Mexico. So, perhaps I am a bit naïve on this technicality. But, someone please tell me how bus loads of these people are crossing our borders. I always thought the ROADS were blocked by border patrol and you had to have documents to pass, and that illegals were sneaking in via places where there were no roads. Perhaps I am wrong. There was a time when a passport was not required in Canada. And if a pass port is not required to enter the US from Mexico, then bus loads CAN be coming in masquerading as tourists.

So, what gives with this? Everyone talks about us needing a 'fence.' If they can cross in buses with no passport, then what good would a fence do? IMO, it would only inconvenience those who use the coyotes to cross rather than loading themselves onto buses.

You do realize that in 2008 GW signed a bill to let this happen, right?

My question to him was # 173. He answered by referring to his wife instead of answering the question.

My wife was illegal for years; I did have an illegal in my house. For those children, I believe this country can find a way to care for these children.

I really like meatloaf, with mashed potatoes and gravy and peas. Maybe a piece of apple pie with ice cream on it afterwards. Meatloaf was developed in the poor and black areas of America during the Great Depression when poor Americans were unable to buy a good meal. Just part of American history.

Let me be the first to suggest that you take about 6 of them in.

I also really love hog jaw and turnip greens. Mr. Racist Chinaski would probably sooner vomit than eat a bowl of them.

I believe we can find it in our bloated military budget to care for these children.

CJ, if people are coming from different lands without being invited, then they are bringing their crime with them.

You too ignoring the posted documentation on the ill effects of NAFTA on the Mexican worker.

Uh, the current crop of border invaders coming here are neither Mexicans nor workers.
