You seem to need to look up what "defend" means. Pointing out incorrect information, or highlighting that someone is doing such, is not "defending".
If they broke Iraqi laws, then the Iraqi's should decide what legal action they wish to take. If they broke any United States laws that would apply in a foreign country then the U.S. should take legal action against them for that. This doesn't qualify as "war crimes" however, and asserting that they should be charged with such simply because you have a strong dislike for their actions doesn't magically make it correct.
I didn't mention war crimes in the post you quoted. Glad to see you support prosecution, though you know there will be none.
