Obama to take executive action on immigration

Certainly none from the Obama Admin!

Well, the only reason I dove into this thread is because your post caught my attention, by challenging another member for proof. or "LOOK IT UP YOURSELF"

I can post links in which what is claimed is 1/2 truth (politico) or another by pew research, which do you want?

You also could look it up too. After reading some of the links, you'd be better informed, and make you a better debater.

If this chart loads, it's from the new republic, source is the department of homeland security.

You'll notice removals are higher under Obama.

Boehner states that the House will not move on Immigration Reform.
And Obama gets labeled as the Deporter-in-Chief hurting him with that part of the electorate--as Con/GOPs snicker.

But Boehner won't move on Immigration Reform because the President can't be trusted.
Now lookie here at the ultimate strawman by a Speaker.
No Amnesty!
No Amnesty!
No Amnesty!
But Boehner may play after the election .

I think the media has their lips firmly planted on Obama's anus and Obama knows it. That is why Obama does the things he does.
No question.
Yup ... Easy to boldly lie when you know there ain't no one gonna call you on it.
Like ... he complained about the Senate Immigration Bill not getting a vote and you'd think there'd be SOMEbody mention what Reid has been blocking in the Senate.

I wonder if the party of Reagan Patriots would want a soldier deported after he serves.
Nor should we take care of any of his wounds.
Should we follow each of them back to see who the President was when the illegal went to fight for the USA ?
Yes. Deport them. Happy? It's what I've been saying the whole time. Reading comprehension is a must on any debate forum.

Please file it.

And let's just say NO to any legislation and force the President to put forth an executiive order to move assests to the border for control.

Then file a lawsuit and tell me who has taken obstruction to the next level .

Go back and first read my post number 10 and then number 14 before you get all red in the face and jumping to conclusions that are bound to be wrong.

Careful, their next checkers move is to shoot your link and the research.
It's been that way since the gov't shutdown and ensuing ACA roll-out.

Boehner is willing to do nothing on Immigration Reform and other hot-button TEA-issues and wait for public opinion polls after the August recess.
Expect to see a few token bills aimed at specific target groups based on this polling .

Yeah this caught my eye as well....true it shows until 2012. Then BO's EO comes into affect and as the AP discovered so far.....40k let into the country within the last year.

Then there was more to it they discovered.

The immigration court system was backlogged with as many as 30,000 pending cases before the most recent surge. Final decisions by immigration judges can take years, but that supposes immigrants dutifully attend their assigned hearings. Many won't. As many as one-quarter of the immigrants ordered to show up in court in recent years have failed to appear, according to the Executive Office for Immigration Review, the Justice Department agency that runs immigration courts.

Instead, the government has more narrowly targeted people who return to the U.S. after they were deported, people who threaten U.S. national security and public safety and adults who can be subject to expedited deportation that takes hours or days.

The president has made several administrative changes to immigration enforcement, including a program to allow some young immigrants who came to the country before 2007 to avoid deportation and obtain a work permit for two years.

Adult immigrants caught crossing the Mexican border illegally are generally removed from the U.S. within hours or days of their arrest. But a federal law dating to President George W. Bush's administration requires that unaccompanied child immigrants must be turned over to HHS within three days. From there, many are reunited with parents or other relatives already in the United States or other sponsors before the lengthy court process beings.....snip~

Few immediate consequences for child immigrants

When Congress passes laws, yes. The partisan gridlock in the Capitol is strangling us as a nation. I halfway hope that the GOP does win control of the Senate in November because it's probably our only hope of actually getting something passed. It may get vetoed, but that is part of the process.
What bill is the house ignoring?

Please back that accusation up with a SB number.

Neither you nor anyone who likes this post has any understanding of that graph. If an illegal hasn't committed a felony but are caught by ICE, they are allowed to remove themselves voluntarily (called a "return"). Others are removed without that option. It's like your current workplace allowing you to quit rather than firing you. Returns are allowed to file for visas in the future, removals not so much.

The graph shows Obama has done a terrible job on this problem.

There are a lot of representatives in the House and they represent a lot of people.

Why does Obama think he knows better than the representatives closest to the people?

What you have to realize is that Obama does not give a damn about the American people.

The presidency is like a toy to him. He thinks he can do whatever he wants regardless of the consequences.

He's an arrogant POS. One of the most vile humans ever to have walked the earth.

We have native-born children living in poverty, so I don't give a rat's behind about living conditions in other countries. Let them take care of their own people! No more welfare and no more handouts from us! Maybe they'll go back where they came from. Why should America have to provide amnesty to those who have violated our laws and our sovereignty, and why the Hell does it have to be done immediately?

Greetings, MMC. :2wave:

Wow, right up there with Hitler.

What he is going to do is called amnesty. Bet on it.

I suppose this is another instance where it's only ok when republicans do it.

It wasn't OK. Can we learn from past mistakes, or are we going to repeat them?

Hush your mouth. You are gonna burn in GOP hell for saying a negative about Ronnie.

I hope you don't think he was perfect.

We all makes mistakes.

The first mistake on amnesty to Republicans was not that President's mistake, as they rewrite history.
The massive influx of round two of Hispanic illegals had nothing to do with the first amnesty. :sarcasticclap
It is all Obama's fault they were here when he took office in 2009 .

Good evening, AP. :2wave:

A) Obama has just said that he intends to go around Congress to issue an EO on immigration since Congress will not act on the problem soon enough to suit him, which is against the law.

B) The Supreme Court has just sent him a unanimous message that he is overstepping his power!

C) BHO's response? "Just watch me do it again!"

Certainly not the A.B.C.s we learned in school, are they?

Try telling me Boehner isn't a bigger obstacle to Immigration Reform as Harry Reid.
Let's just take this thread and that one issue at a time,
Obama needs to come out and spank the impotent Republicans "one day at a time" .
Have it your way. But contrary to popular opinion, what you don't know can..............
