Syrian Warplanes Strike in Western Iraq, Killing at Least 50 People

Some good points. That said amongst the terror groups, maybe we should provide supplies-to the losing side. Leave them fighting each other, its good for us, and I dont care about them. Civilians are another matter.
Netanyahu pretty much agrees with letting both sides kill each other. Neither one is our friend. However, I do think some aid should be supplied to the Kurds and others friendly to the US. Jordan is reporting of ISSA invading that country also. Other reports coming out have stated among the ISSA terrorists are approximately 1500 Brits and some Muslim Americans. That should be a wake up call for some but I doubt it. I see all those young men pouring through our open unprotected borders just about the same age as these terrorist fighters. That should be a wake up call as well. But I doubt it.

This all can be traced back to the US's removal of that counterbalance, Saddam Hussein.

Syrian Warplanes Strike in Western Iraq, Killing at Least 50 People
Second Consecutive Day of Airstrikes by Syria Is Aimed at Shoring Up Iraqi Armed Forces

BAGHDAD—Syrian warplanes carried out airstrikes in western Iraq, stepping up the military role of the U.S. adversary in helping Baghdad's Shiite-dominated government fight Sunni insurgents.

The strikes on Tuesday came as the Pentagon announced that the first 130 members of a potential 300 U.S. military advisers were in place in Baghdad to start assessing and improving the Iraqi army's ability to counter the gains of rebels led by the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham.

And the escalation continues. Under Obama our geopolitical adversaries fill the power vacuum.
You left out an important fact. The Iraqi government asked the Syrian government for help in bombing ISIS targets.
ISIS: Syrian Regime Working With Iraqi Government To Bomb Jihadi Strongholds

The USA has been arming and funding ISIS. Must be doing just what the USA wants. Now the Mainstream Brainstream Media always refer to ISIS instead of terrorists. If we, the USA, supply the funds and arms, then we might be identified as the terrorists. I mean, ISIS slipped right through USA satellite imagery with their ghosts movements of miles long column of troops in Toyota trucks and noone noticed. Hot dam, y'all, whos' side we on, anyway? Northrup-Grumman, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon gotta be happy campers as all these warring parties need weapons and business is good. "War is good business, and business is good." Somebody give the marketing and promotions departments a bonus for pulling this latest one off. A lil' killin' here, devastation and mayhem over there and the stock is looking good. Ain't CORPORATISM grand?
Got any proof of that? Naw, didn't think so.

Btw, Russia and China correctly predicted that US interference in Syria would cause the conflict to spread throughout the region, but the 'rah rah, America never does anything wrong' crowd didn't listen then and is not listening, still!

What does that have to do with the hundreds of thousands of civilians that the US has killed in the ME in a century of interference? And partisans fuel the fire.
The US hasnt been killing those folks...thats been the terrorists...the bad guys...and that number pales to the death tell Saddam was running up.

The war was the right thing to do. Bush screwed up the post war ops something fierce. Obama has consistently doubled down. Regardless...at the end of the day...the World loses with terrorist fundamentalist extremists controlling nations in the ME. The world should be engaging, not just the US. However...there is no reason why we should not be launching large scale drone attacks targeting terrorist groups. There is no reason why their uprising should be allowed to bloom into a full on rebellion and overthrow. NO ONE wins with ISIS and AL Qaeda in control there. They will make the Taliban look like pikers.

Saddam didn't kill hundreds of thousands of people, and he was a stableizing force in the region and he had no affiliation with al Qaida and he had no WMD and he was never a threat to the US and he was our ally until he wasn't and, and, and......

Saddam killed far more. I suppose you would like him back. He also refused to comply with UN Resolutions disclosing the whereabout and disposition of his WMD program. You know how we know he was absolutely guilty of that charge? Because we were on the SEVENTEENTH UN resolution attempting to force him to give disclosure. Bill Clinton said he had them. Clintons Sec of Defense said not only did he have them but he was deliberately denying access to UN inspectors. Madeline Albright said he had them. Hilary Clinton said he had them. EVERYONE said he had them...even the UN inspectors following the first gulf war. You know what no one knows? Where they all went. Maybe he dumped them into the desert...who knows. What we KNOW is that he refused to comply with UN resolutions forcing disclosure. SEVENTEEN times.

That Iraqi death toll does indeed keep climbing. Those same people that have been killing people left and right today are the ones responsible for the vast majority of those deaths. You want to let them go unchecked...fine. Iraq crisis: ISIS jihadists execute dozens of captives - Telegraph

No, he did NOT kill far more, that's factually wrong, and yes, I would gladly take him back, not wishing to see him go in the first place, unless he could be replaced with something better. A task that the US is both unqualified for, and powerless to accomplish. And that's not profound either. 500,000 dead innocent civilians, 4,500 dead US servicemen/women and 1 trillion dollars wasted with Iraq far FAR worse off than when Saddam was in power, but keep deceiving yourself otherwise in your feeble attempt to defend BushCo.

Don't y'all have it goin' on now. Hell yes! Smack them dirty mother Pakistanis, And then there be them hot damn dumb ass Egyptorians over there locking up the Press to cure them truthtellers wit' a bit of down time and maybe death. Smack them 'tards. And those friggin' Saudis and I ain't forgettin' that about 16-18 of those 9-11 bombers were Saudis with Pakistani money and FBI and CIA taints on their permanent records. Lite 'em up, don't ya' know. And at least one of those tweeded twits from merry ol' England must be smokin' da tea leaves cause he, he named Blair, think Iraq is not his or ol' GW Bush's (the First Moron) fault. They havin' trouble getting good traction with that war in Ukraine so that marketing group gonna get reorganization. Not to worry, National bankruptcy will soon follow and privatization will become the new byword for National patrimony. Scorch 'em now, so you'll save bullets later. I'm pretty sure the USA gonna be real pissed at Assad if he keeps sending explosive gift cannisters to our ISIS friends who are assisting in a little regime change in the Bush/Blair successpool named Iraq. I can see serious re-negotiation of OIL contracts in the near future and my crystal ball is in the shop for a tune up so the imagery has to write itself. Get bigger bombs and bigger bullets and kill lots more and the problem will solve itself. Stop me now, I'm beginning to sound like a Republican.

Im sorry...I just tripped over a dozen heads that were chopped off by a bunch of evil ****s trying to take over the middle east. And they used rusty machetes...not a single bullet required. Allah Ahkbar! What were you saying? Graphic photos posted by ISIS show alleged MASS SLAUGHTER of Iraqi soldiers » The Right Scoop -

Hey Dave...do you live in a lean-to? Do you only walk everywhere you go? Do you grow your own food, process your own waste? Is your computer one of those fancy newfangled jobs made out of organic plant matter and run only on a hand cranked independent generator? You dont drive, do you? Use electricity? Potable city water? Wear clothes manufactured only by the hands of hippies fashioned from hemp and leaves?

If you live in the real world, you are one of those guys that lives and breathes by all the largess and success of others and spend your whole life bitching and moaning about those that provide it for you.

As a matter of fact, I do live rural with my own spring and septic. I buy lots of cookies and pies from the Amish and hire them to harvest timber and labor intensive local projects. That septic means I process my own waste. That spring is my potable water. Seven PV panels, but still attached to the major drug dealers of electricity and natural gas. My green acreage provides that oxygen misused by persons like yourself who live and breathe by all the largesse and success of persons like myself who have been promoting the Green agenda since the early 1970s. Teaching others how to save energy and use less. Developing solar products for humanities survival and occasional profit. I am a Vietnam veteran and don't feel I own any more for defense (defense- that is an unusual name for delivering war and death to a Nation that is no threat ). Check your ventilation, sometimes when your windows are all too tight, you end up inhaling your own fumes and serious perturbations of the environment and hallucinations can occur.

We do not have the legal authority required to engage in military intervention in Iraq. The authorization of military force signed in 2002 expired and the 2001 authorization of millitary force does not cover millitary involvement in Iraq.

Wow! Dissent of failed government policy equates to ignorance and riding on the backs of fellow Americans. Your sounding a lot like Obama!

I know...I am a neoconservative liberal warmonger. Of course...you and Dave go ahead and keep on with your down with America, capitalism, and Industry shtick and ignore the realities.

Cant help but think your last sentence comes from years of learned experiences.

Me and Dave huh? There's plenty more. Have you noticed the ranks of independents these days? Just wait till they realise that they aren't bound to the smart ass or the dumb elephant. In the meantime, you stick with your rah rah Americas always right and good while ignoring the realities.

You read that into ANY of my comments here? You might want to check again. But you ought to maybe look at what is happening and what the future looks like if things go unchecked. Since you are into that whole 'reality' thing.

I'm certain that you invoked the reality thing Vance. It seems your preoccupation.

You obviously miss the point, all the points. We weren't attacked because of our 'values'. Check US interference in the ME for a century. Complete withdrawal eliminates future attacks. That's beside the fact that we don't know who attacked us anyway, assuming you reference 9/11.

Weve been attacked for many reasons, including our values-as they aren't radical islamist. But these terrorists dont just attack us-they attack nations that have nothing to do with "ME interference".

Not over there we don't, we are not the world police. All that happens when the U.S. gets involved in the middle east is we mess it up. Here's a hint, they don't like us and they don't want us over there. We are only acting as a recruitment tool for Al-Qaeda.

And as for your statement of "You aren't going to lose this war", what in the holy hell are you even talking about. Unless you are deployed there YOU ain't doing anything except typing on a damn computer keyboard.

The entire premise of the war on terror is that it was better to fight them there, rather than in NYC or LA. AQ will come here. THATS the issue.

And by "I", I mean me and my nation.
