Central American migrants are on a word-of-mouth exodus to the U.S.

The major fix in the illegal immigration problem is working with Mexico, etc. to improve their economies so people there won't feel they need to come here.

Completely false. That's how NAFTA was sold to the American people; "It will improve the Mexican economy so much that the Mexicans will stop coming here and stealing American jobs."

Anyone can see how that lie worked out.

The Democrats need a permanent dependency class to remain in power. That is why the Mexicans are imported and no one will stop them. It is a plus for the Democrats if the Mexicans are ignorant, uneducable and have huge families for Americans to support and maintain forever. All good.

If they stopped voting for Democrats, they would be deported tomorrow.

Here's the deal. Suppose we don't allow immigration, and we tell all illegals they have to leave. Who is going to enforce that, and how? Will never happen. At least with immigration reform, we get people in the system paying taxes.

Also, for those who say that immigrants vote for Democrats, whose fault is that? George Bush won the Hispanic vote in 2000 because he respected Hispanics, and showed respect. Hispanics today won't vote for a Republican, because Republicans have given an appearance that they hate Hispanics. Whose fault is that? Whether deserved or not, it is the GOP that squandered the good will Bush built up with Hispanics. No need for them to whine about it after the fact. The fault lies not in their stars, but in themselves.

This is a crisis totally of this administrations making....And this is what they are bringing with them...

Reports of TB, and worse have been reported...And also reports of hardcore MS13 gang members, and affiliates have entered...What the hell is this administration doing? And what should we do to stop this insanity?

All this administration's fault huh? Lol

Ahhh, kill people trying to find a better life for themselves and their children, great.

As long as it wasn't their great grand pappy when he came here to find a better life of course.

I'd frame it more as. Kill people who wish to live off of the american welfare state, who wish to leech off of americans and refuse to take proactive steps to IMPROVE THEIR OWN country. If they don't come here legally than they are criminalss, and this qualifies as an act of WAR because in my opinion it is an INVASION.

At least conservatives aren't bull****ting us with that whole "compassionate conservative" canard anymore.

I don't think there's anything innate that keeps the people of Mexico from building a world-class country. They're already so hard working they put most of us to shame. I think the government needs to deal with corruption and we both need to deal with out respective drug problems; us as customers and them as suppliers. I think making English a second language taught every year in schools would be super beneficial considering their success would largely depend upon a strong relationship with America. Plus American acculturation with several English American radio and TV stations simulcast in every Mexican city and North American (US) Civics and History taught throughout school years.

That's always been the real problem yet many are fearful, it seems, of pointing out the obvious. I spend a great deal of time in Central America, i have business there, and the culture of corruption is casually accepted because it has always been there. If these countries adopted the US Constitution and Bill of Rights the improvements would show quite quickly because, as you say, these people do work very hard. They also need rid themselves of their foolish Napoleonic laws which, naturally, the lawyers would be against. They may have to follow Shakespeare's advice on them also.

Would it be a violation of the Geneva Convention to consider this mass migration even though it is largely by independant minds, an act of war (Invasion)?
Good grief.

There is no "invasion" and no "war." Immigrants have been coming to the US for well over a century, usually accompanied by inflammatory and hateful reactions by other immigrants -- who just got here a few decades before the more recent arrivals.

? If so could we declare 'War?' on illegal immigrants? We have a big enough military and advanced enough weaponry to shoot down anyone trying to come into our country. Our reason for war? Economic subterfuge by illegals placing a heavy burden on the american system and a technical "invasion" of residents of those country into ours. Thoughts?[/QUOTE]

"Immigrant" and "Illegal Migrant" are two different things. Illegal Migrants should be treated like invaders because they damage the viability of our economy and increase demands for jobs, which decreases jobs available to actual Citizens and LEGAL IMMIGRANTS in this country. I have no problem with people who Legally Immigrate here just like my ancestors did and yours did.

Just requiring Citizenship/ID for ANY Job in the USA
Uh, yeah, that's already a requirement.

Any Business hiring an illegal should face $5000/$10000/JAIL penalties.
2nd offense can already be $5000, 3rd offense can already be $10k. Harboring an illegal immigrant can already mean jail time.

What else ya got?

NO Amnesty, NO 'Path to Citizenship', NO Have-your-baby-here/send-your-children, NO Jobs. Nada. ALL incentives must be removed. Absolutely.
Or, instead of wasting money trying to protect a huge unpopulated border, we can increase the number of legal immigrants, charge them a fee, tax them, and drop the absurd hateful rhetoric against our fellow human beings.

Illegals would NOT be able to get licences either without National Citizen IDs.
Uh huh. Have you actually gotten a job lately? You do have to fill out forms to prove you're a US citizen, or have a valid visa.

Illegal immigrants are either getting paid under the table, or they forge documents. So unless you're also going to get rid of cash, good luck with your plan.

"out-thinking" you was not exactly tough. You clearly couldn't comprehend this simple proposal: National ID.
Yes, I'm sure conservatives all over the US will line up behind that plan. :lamo

Yep, all Obama's fault.

History suggests otherwise. For better and for worse, America’s borders have always been highly porous, and to imagine a secure line around the country is to be falsely nostalgic for a past that never existed.

I got that you have to Produce a LINK to such a Law and post/Excerpt said terms you say exists for the same people I was talking about.
Then even if you do, I got that I am demanding enforcement which clearly is NOT happening.

ANY incentive will be capitalized on.
There are Holes in your goofy proposal already.
ie, YOU allow them in, now you find them when they have No job, but their kids are in school, you rip em out, etc.
Oh yeah that's a winner.
and OOOPS...
Your proposal would also require knowing their status/having an ID card.

Got something better I hope.

That's part of it. But a lot of the juvenile immigrants are from nations like Honduras and El Salvador. Migration patterns tend to shift, and the US simply cannot single-handedly fix every economy around the world.

I might add that one fix would be to facilitate American companies opening factories and moving facilities to those nations. Do you think that will go over well in the US? ;)

Erm... English translation please? ;)

And here's the US code. Scroll down to (e)(4). 8 U.S. Code § 1324a - Unlawful employment of aliens | LII / Legal Information Institute

Good luck with demanding better enforcement.

OK, and...? Have you not noticed that I'm OK with immigration, and want more legal options?

Only if its something that cannot be done here. Certain agricultural sectors like sugar production. Mineral mining. Tourism. Especially if Americans can invest in those industries. I really wish Bush's private investment retirement accounts had gained momentum but I won't get on a tangent.

Sorry Visbek, you did NOT excerpt because you could NOT meet my requirements for the wide numbers and specific and/or penalties.
Your link has a ton of exceptions/classes and Otherwise and obviously, we wouldn't have a problem.

Ooops.
In fact, they must "avoid" precisely the kind of language we need to stop the problem!

And you didn't even attempt to answer this part, you Dishonestly truncated it.

More fiction and strawmen. We DO allow immigration, probably always will. We already do tell all illegals they have to leave. Some of our politicians have decided to not walk that talk in opposition to law and the express will of the people. Immigration reform has become meaningless as a descriptor because of all this playing around with language. For instance, immigration reform could mean making immigration more restrictive. But it has been reframed to mean amnesty.

No, I don't want them here paying taxes. Deport them and where possible use their resources to do so. Cut off all services to illegals - including education. The only thing they should be entitled to are emergency room visits, followed by deportation.

Bush was an idiot on the issue. He sucked up for the same reason the dems do, the politics of paying off a voting block.

Btw, no one is suggesting we have to deport them all at once you know. That's just the dodge response. If we discover you here illegally and don't have the budget to deport you immediately, fine. You'll never have citizenship or be here legally and now we know where you are for next year when we have more budget.
