U.S. Captures Benghazi Suspect in Secret Raid.....

Did I notice any praise from you rightists today on the Ben--gha--zi capture??
NO--just charges he did it for political reasons--
Just future charges from the kabal of McBlame, Ayotte, Graham, Rubio .

I hate to break it to you, but that's exactly what the rightists have charged all day.
That Obama did it for all sorts of political reasons.
Not to mention how he's handling the terrorist.
It should be quite clear how the GOP is handling each new day of foreign events.
And yet they expect to get intel so they can openly discuss it to trash the President .
 
I am very glad that we will be trying this guy in our court system. If we are in an ideological conflict with Jihadists and religious fundamentalists, we should be proving that our way, the democratic rule of law, is superior. When we accuse someone of a crime, we give them due process in our court system to determine the truth of the accusation. Only then do we punish.

We should never skimp on this, the core of our character as a nation, for any reason. We should never sink to the level of our enemies.

Problem is, the GOP always wants to do the opposite--now they want him tried at GITMO--
And the mainstream press gives McCain, Rubio, Graham and Ayotte an open mic, not to mention all the rightie media .

So you believe that this entire conflict is about whether democracy is fair or not, and that terrorists don't understand the American justice system?

You must know that those who carried out 9/11, for example, had lived in the US for a while and should have been aware of the US system of justice.

What words did you read? Not the words I wrote that you quoted. I believe that we need to cling to our ideals and not compromise them in the face of our enemies. If we claim to have the moral high ground, we need to act like it.

Funny how a guy that has been walking around in Open Public.....traveling to London, to give Interviews with the Brits press. Is now being picked up.

Do you think those that deny all that pertains to Benghazi, can figure out they have had video footage and that there is no video footage of this guy with any weapons in his hands and nothing to show he participated in the battle.

Wake up and smell the coffee.....BOs' numbers were getting ready to go under 37%. Now that wont be happening with this lil surprise that has been manufactured to give BO some Good time face with the Country. Considering most all are to the point of not allowing BO to go off a deep edge and take anyone else with him.

The FBI has known and did know where this guy was at all times. He didn't hide anywheres.....other than when he went home to his tribal grounds. Then was back in Benghazi then Europe and then back to Benghazi.

He's the CURRENT commander in chief. He's responsible. If it were any other president, I would hold them to the same.

FWIW I don't like us going to war without a clear path to victory [that means taking names and kicking ass]...something we have lacked under several presidents.

Heya WCH. :2wave: Grant already showed what all the SOFA stated. This doesn't give BO and his people a pass to walk away from Diplomacy. Now that the blame Maliki even more shows it was their own failed policy. BO wanted out.....once Maliki wouldn't agree. BO then followed thru with his campaign promise.

The real eye Opener.....is the SOFA that BO wants signed in Afghanistan. Yet when Karzi told BO......NO. Then BO.....waited and offered again. Then again. Then one more time Right before their new election. All with Karzai saying.....NO, no, and no!

So now BO rather than pull everybody out of Afghanistan.....now waits for the results of the run off from that Election. But it doesn't matter who wins. As both have stated they will sign BO's SOFA.....and then BO will make sure we are tied down in Afghanistan for another Decade. While he Leaves 9800 troops there.

What Happened? Its the same deal as Iraq. That which BO didn't want to deal with.....but because Afghanistan is what BO wants to deal with. Its then Okay.....huh? Where are the BO-bots and all that talk.....Now!

I don't think we should have been there in the first place but, therein lies the conundrum.

We should become energy independent and let that area of the world fall on it's on sword.

With the billions we have spent in the wars in the Middle East we could have been energy dependent some time ago.

Watch you will here later how BO and his Team waited and why. They will then talk about all the activity that was taking place with Libya and not just with Benghazi. But Tripoli and a Base that we were training some people out of was hit. They took all the weapons and trashed the place. BO wont want that part to come out.

But he will use the excuse that due to the violence before. They couldn't just go in grab this guy.

Then they can explain how thy were able to so now. With the former General who has CIA ties. Grabbing this guy up and without.....a shot fired.
 
It is mind-boggling that the same government and adminstration people complain about on a daily basis— have no problem with that very same administation "arresting" a person that govenment claims is a suspect in a terrorist attack— are fine with the prosepect of the government just locking up said terrorists and incarcerating without any public trial or "transperancy".

If the government or the Obama admistration can simply deem someone is a terroist and present their information to a judge without scrutiny...where is your protection????

Thanks for reviewing all the video footage for us. And as we all know, leaders of attacks always are armed participants.

Either way, I'm sure you are relieved to know Obama was wrong here. You might not know how he was wrong, but I'm sure you'll figure out some story.
 
I cannot help but think this "capture" serves the same purpose as the "killing" of OBL--to change the subject away from subjects more embarrassing to the administration.

Much ado about nothing at all, but OMG, the media loves it.

Oh, are you saying Hillary, General Dempsey and Panetta are lying then when they testified that had video footage from the consulate? Did you miss their Testimony? What did they cause you to lose all thought their first time out?

It even gets worse with all the cell phones confiscated that had cameras too.....huh? Let me guess you will say the Libyans planted them just to throw us off the trail.....Right?
