Border agent laments Mexican gang members entering U.S.: 'Why are we letting him in here?' - Washington Times

Border Patrol officials are swamped by the number of minors crossing illegally into the United States and frustrated that they can’t turn away known Mexican gang members.
Chris Cabrera, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307 in the Rio Grande Valley, said that confirmed gang members in Mexico — including those from Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) — are coming into the country to be reunited with their families, National Review reported Friday.

Obama needs to explain this. What policy allows this?

I think people grossly overestimate how much micromanaging a president does.

When you add in his immediate staff, aides, cabinet, political allies at the federal, state and local levels, as well as political power brokers, financial bundlers, lobbyist and then billionaire donors.... because the President does set the policy agenda and political strategy to support that policy agenda.... it might not be as grossly overestimated as you may think. Perhaps just "somewhat overestimated".

I think some ideologues grossly underestimate how the people view the Presidents actions. Encouraging invasion by foreign countries only sits well among those taught to believe in the religion he pushes.

Really, what about in Bush's case?

You want the President to explain the process by which a detainee is given a Immigration hearing before a immigration judge to determin immigration status or present any extenuating circumstances which may allow the person to claim asylum?

You need an explanation of that?

Have never understood the Immigration and Naturalization Service dept in how they choose who comes in and who doesn't. This is the same agency that sent visa approval notices for two of the 911 hijackers six months after they died. Then on the other hand , I knew a man years back who married a woman in South America and it took months to get his wife in.

I think people underestimate how little control anyone elected has over the huge federal nanny state.

Is there something in my post that made you think I was making exceptions? or are you just trying to deflect from this absurdity of this thread?

Just checking to see if you are consistent.
