(Reuters) - U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, held five years as a Taliban prisoner of war before being released on May 31, will return to the United States on Friday after receiving care at a military hospital in Germany, a senior defense official said on Thursday.

Bergdahl, released in a prisoner swap for five Taliban leaders held at Guantanamo, was expected to be sent to a military hospital in San Antonio for further treatment. His release sparked a political uproar because the administration did not notify Congress beforehand.​

I don't think he can get around being charged. He left a well reasoned letter stating his reason for deserting. Maybe he has problems AFTER being captured, but certainly not before. The mere fact that you desert does not mean you have emotional problems. Hell, Obama has been selling out this country for 6 years. What are HIS emotional problems? Obama doesn't have emotional problems. He's a traitor.

Supposedly Bergdahl was let go by the Coast Guard before he joined the army.

Barack Obama is YOUR President and will continue to be YOUR President for the next 2 and a half years - and then Hillary Clinton will be YOUR President for the next EIGHT years - so live with it.

And you are psychic? I don't think so. Any number of things could happen to make Obama NOT my president, and Hillary has had a stroke. Go ahead, vote for a brain damaged candidate. Oh, wait. You already did that!

As long as the Republicans continue to alienate blacks, Latinos, women, gays, immigrants, etc., they will continue to lose. When, or if, they ever lose the influences of the Tea Party and the Evangelicals, THEN they will get the White House back. Until then, you and your "buddies" can continue to ridicule the winners. You will have, AT LEAST, 10 more years to do so.

Playing that phony race card is about the only thing you all have left that even gives you a chance, because Obama has made it impossible for the left to stand on their policy record, leadership and executive performance.

The boy who cried wolf comes to mind, and the race card canard is wearing mighty thin...
