Report: Swastikas found in apartment of Las Vegas cop killers[W:251]

From attempting to sound intelligent straight to sarcasm, insult, and personal attacks. Typical. Glad I found out what you're all about in 1 post. Saves me lots of wasted time. ;)

So maybe I misunderstood, and this:
We should judge you libs by your actions because libs words mean so little.

Was really just you being respectful.

Yeah, go take your toys and run home crying.
The North, East and West were NOTHING like the South...NOTHING.
Not even close.
You don't know what you're talking about and I called you on it.
The closest thing to the Old South in the USA was old South Africa under P.W. Botha.
And you're like some guy in Waseenaar The Netherlands trying to explain how it wasn't all that
bad for "zee bleck mans". :lamo

You're the one trying to pass yourself off as some type of authority, while passing ye same old 'repub's are the true racists' crap fed you by modern era indoctrination centers better known as the public school system.

Oh, and you have to earn my respect. ;)

I grew up witnessing racism firsthand, I lived in The Old South for thirteen years and you do not know anything about my educational background.
But if you're interested in whining about how you've been disrespected, you probably aren't well suited for a debate environment.
You just finished saying
Glad I found out what you're all about in 1 post.

So you also don't have a clue about my views as to whether or not I believe "Republicans are the true racists".

No, I will NOT get over it.
The facts on who voted for what were already posted.
The voting records of WHICH Democrats voted AGAINST the Civil Rights Act of 1964 were also already posted.
Southern Dems voted AGAINST, Northern, Eastern and Western Dems voted FOR.

If NOT for the 20 AYE votes cast by the Republicans in the 1964 Senate this bill would have been BLOWN RIGHT OUT OF THE WATER. Bill defeated 57 to 34 percent.

Not to mention the 60 GOP House members who voted for the Civil Rights bill, the one Rand Paul is now against.
Trouble is, that wing of the GOP no longer exists.

Fact is, Reagan ran against this "responsible" GOP wing in 1976 and weakened them enough to win the nomination in 1980.
Today's cons want to keep this GOP memory alive for CRA, but actually believe just the opposite today .

Hey, go ahead and disown your GD democrats all you want...they were still democrats just like your RACIST president Lyndon Baines Johnson. That SoB was shot thru and thru racist.

I did not say that the Republican votes didn't mean anything. Stop putting words in my mouth.
Your hysteria is clouding your judgment and your ability to debate historical fact.

What I said (again for the umpteenth time) is that Democrats in the East, West and North experienced a drastic change of heart after
watching real time network television coverage of racial tension in the Deep South, and they ABANDONED their Solid South Dixiecrat
brethren in the wink of an eye and began to support civil rights legislation.
As to whether or not Republicans in that era supported this type of legislation the record is clear that they did.

HOWEVER, once the Dixiecrats got cut loose, the Republican Party sensed an opportunity to cash in, and they DID, and THAT historical record is also clear because
"The Southern Strategy" turned the once BLUE South deep RED, and this was indeed noted by Lyndon Baines Johnson who was known to have remarked upon signing the Civil Rights Act of 1964 into law, "We have lost The South for a generation."

The old Dixiecrats joined the Republican Party and the rest is now history.
And it was a smart move by the GOP. It would have been foolish to do otherwise.
Nixon benefited from it, Reagan did, and the Bushes did.

That is exactly what we did...we DISOWNED the Dixiecrats lock stock and barrel.
Thank you for finally admitting to what is well known historical fact.

I DIDN'T PUT ANY WORDS IN YOUR MOUTH! My words were that but for the Republicans, the 1964 Civil Rights Act was kaput. And YOU can deny that until hell freezes over .

Good for YOU! But they were STILL democrats.

Show me where I denied it....:waiting:
Point to the post where I denied it please.

Good for YOU! But they were STILL democrats.

What's that have to do with anything? So they were Democrats. They were Southern Dixiecrats, their backward, ignorant behavior
got exposed for all the world to see and the majority of Democrats, after seeing this, disowned them.

I would expect ANY majority in ANY political party to do the same.
So please, tell me what your point is.
And please, show everybody in DP where I denied "but for the Republicans, the 1964 Civil Rights Act was kaput."

My point is that those old racist Dixiecrats joined the Republican Party and the Republican Party hasn't been the same since.
Would you care to debate that or would you like to look like a fool for putting words in my mouth?

No the Gadsden Flag is NOT a symbol of the Tea Party but many libertarians are Tea Party members and support the Tea Party movement. As an active political libertarian I have absolutely no problem with the Tea Party using the Gadsden Flag.

If it matters, everyday I wear either a Gadsden t-shirt or hat..... Hell I even have a hockey jersey I made myself with the Gadsden patch on a blank Boston Bruins jersey with "Paul" as the name plate.

Don't tread on me.

I love it!
I pointed to a Google Search that SHOWS the many Gadsden Flags being used by local Tea Party chapters and you did exactly what wingers always do, you proved that you don't believe facts if they are incovenient! HAHAHAHAHA! OMG this is so great.
Facts are meaningless to wingers, and there's your proof, America!

BELIEF is more important that fact in the winger universe.
You show a winger a fact and if it's inconvenient, they just retreat to their bubble and go "Mumble mumble libertarian mumble mumble John Galt mumble mumble I don't believe it mumble mumble I have absolutely no problem with the Tea Party using the Gadsden Flag but mumble mumble the Gadsden Flag is not the Tea Party flag."

what the hell are you talking about.

Today right-wingers can be identified as almost all libertarians and conservatives. They want less government, less taxes on the rich, less spending on the people (the younger ones at least), less or no welfare, less federal government, more "states rights", some are social righties and want a christian form of sharia law inflicted upon the people both public and private.

Left is basically everything that isn't that.

Southern democrats of old were conservatives, they were largely racists. If you believe otherwise i have to wonder how naive you are.

what the **** is a conservative?

In what universe did I ever deny it WASN'T used by the Tea Party - all I implied was that I didn't care.

As a matter of fact I would love to see the Tea Party sport more yellow.

It does cut against the "Republican party is racist" and the "Dem party is incapable of racism" narrative you're hoping to advance.

To sum it up in something simple - democrats were racists and supported institutionalized racism. NOW, democrats use non-whites as a voting block by paying them..

Is there any proof linking them to Clive Bundy?

The media said that they were there. No details more than that from the story I got on mainstream news.

It does cut against the "Republican party is racist" and the "Dem party is incapable of racism" narrative you're hoping to advance.

It's what they want and what they need to promote their garbage ideology.

Republicans are racists and democrats are good natured seems to be the party line of the DNC and every major media outlet...

The DNC party line on every issue is that a) republicans are racist b) they're for the rich and c) they want to steal from the middle class - that is how they are portrayed by the media.

And the media eats it up and the general public buys that nonsense.

I think democrats acknowledging their history or racism is a start tho....

I think democrats acknowledging their history or racism is a start tho....

But you are racist too' isnt a good defense for anyone. Face it the Republican and Democrat parties such have sucked for a good deal of time now. And their suckiness is irrelevant to the fact that the predicted militia killing spree would result from a bunch of militia folk getting together at the Bundy ranch. Several posters made that observation in the Bundy threads on this board. ANd unfortunately we were right. Bundy is partly to blame because he called in the militia folk and got them all riled up.

And the only reason that Bundy's kicked out Jared miller is because he was a felon. But dont worry the Bundy's are no longer baggage for the Republican party since they registered as Independent American Party voters. So there it's no longer a Republican vs Democratic issue.

That is fine with me..

If the feds fired on me I would fire back...

It's called self defense - the feds just cant do whatever they want.

Well except the guy in the video fired first and the Feds still havent shot any militia idiots\Bundy's.
