Town's White Police Official Calls Obama N-Word [W:301]

NH has sadly become a Liberal state and is tipping more that direction every week, it seems. The Massholes relocate in droves and bring their Liberal views.

I checked to see whether NH was a liberal state before claiming it was, just in case. Then a liberal posts who feels his beliefs are fact. This seems to happen often among liberals, but suspect you've already noticed that.

Yeah, and that's just another fine bit of bull****. But I suppose it fits somewhat considering the Tar Baby was a trap for the Fox.

He did resign according to MSM. Gotta weed out the Neanderthals.

I wasn't posting here last year, but was there a big outcry when Congressman Charlie Rangel called the Tea Partiers and Republicans "white crackers"?

This story really got this many people interested? An 82 year old police commissioner from Wolfeboro? Seriously? And all of this hysteria about "racism"? Good grief.

Whatever happened to sticks and stones?

And what does anyone care about what an old man says?

And why do people want the "N" word removed from society but those same people look the other way when blacks call each other that?

Do gay men refer to themselves as flaming faggots? Do Jews refer to themselves as Kikes? Do women refer to themselves as the "C" words? Generally speaking, no. So if people don't want that word used anymore, then FFS stop using it.

By the way, the old dude is stepping aside. Everyone can rest easy now. No more oppression.
Oh noes! The whites.

Seriously. You're going to compare a cracker comment from Charlie "Who the **** Cares" Rangel to a high level cop calling blacks niggers?

Absolutely. Rangel's comment was worse. You do realize that Rangel is a senior Congressman who impacts all of our lives, and this guy was a small NH town elected police commissioner (by the way - NOT a cop) who didn't impact anyone's life outside of the 3000 residents of Wolfeboro, right?

IOW, when a black man calls white people names = you care
When a white man calls black people names = "Why is everyone getting so worked up over some name calling?"

It seems to be White liberals who are getting 'worked up".

The tragedy being that real racism, perpetuated by the majority power and permeating society so as to create a lifetime of injustice, is not just name calling.

But stupid name calling is what we are dealing with here, not necessarily racism. What this does is diminish the impact when genuine racism occurs.

People who were victims of real racism have the scars to prove it. There were no victims in this story, except President Obama who got called a name. I'm sure he'll get over it. The Cambridge police did when he called them "stupid".

Anytime the majority power engages in racial bigotry, oppression is perpetuated and real racism is supported. That's why it's racism and not just name calling.

However, when a black person talks crap about whites, it IS MERELY name calling. There is no societal backing, no system of injustice to perpetuate, no real racism.

What majority power was he in?

When a person in a position of authority engages in any sort of racist behavior, no matter how benign, and nothing is done about it, then at the very least it gives the impression that the authorities condone that behavior or even support it. A government that is supposed to be for all of the people can not allow that to occur without consequences.

Bold is an important note.

So what specific acts of bigotry did he engage in? I don't recall hearing that anyone in Wolfeboro filed any discrimination suits against him or the other 2 commissioners. Do you have some proof of him oppressing black people? Links, please.

I doubt Obama feels oppressed because an 82 year old $500 a year police commissioner in Wolfeboro, NH called him a naughty name.

By the way, I'm a white woman living in NH. Can you share with me what are all these powers I have, eco?

So what specific acts of bigotry did he engage in?

He used race as a pejorative. As someone in the majority power, that qualifies as racism because it helps to perpetuate societal level injustice against minorities.

What minorities sufferered as a result of his perjorative? Please be specific. You seem to think he was oppressing people in his little town. I haven't heard of any such accusations, except from you. Are you a minority living in Wolfeboro who was oppressed by him? If so, what happened?

But if we whites hold all of the power in NH, please tell me what these powers are so I can take advantage of them.

You already do that plenty.

You equate real racism (from the majority power) with socially meaningless racial bigotry (basically, name calling) by the minority. This has the effect of passively denying the existence of real racism. It ignores history. It ignores the sociological impacts of real racism. It ignores ALL of the social aspects of a social construct.

In that false equivalence, you accomplish a few things.

1. You deny real, systemic, racism.
2. You deny the history of racism in this country.
3. You deny the lingering affects of past racism.
4. You deny the current impacts of real racism that still exists in this country.
5. You demonize blacks, as if they have ever done to us what we have done to them.
6. You belittle an understanding of what racism really is and what it really means.
7. You equate having ones feelings hurt with a lifetime of injustice in every aspect of ones life.

You do all of these things, as you help to prop up real racism in America with your false equivalence resulting from an incomplete understanding of racism as a social construct.

You might not be conscious of this. If not, I suggest you consider the intellectual weight of the above and reconsider your concept of what racism really is and what it really means.

So no list of these powers I supposedly have here in NH, and no evidence that the man in Wolfeboro oppressed anyone.

Got it.

I'm sorry if the concept of racism is beyond your grasp. It means more than name calling. Good luck and good day.
