Very good. You showed the effect of conditioning, how most white Americans make at least some decisions based on race, and that this is often a matter not of deliberation, but of reflex. Now, did you disprove what I pointed out in reply #103? No, you did not.
Understand that while there are still so many white Americans that are racist, most white Americans are trying their level best to not be racist. Will we as a whole become "not racist" in this generation? Of course not. But with each generation, we will become less and less racist. It takes more time and patience than you and I will have in our lifetimes, but that time will come. Have faith, and do not hate.
Overall, most white Americans - most AMERICANS - are trying their level best to not be racist, to correct their behavior. Likely none of them will be 100% successful...but the important thing is not the 100% success, but the earnest effort to reach that point.
Again, guy, you need to learn not to hate, learn not to make sweeping judgments of others based on their race (because you certainly did just that) - because when you do, in the eyes of racists you're only justifying the hatred they have of you. You have to be better and rise above. When you return spite for spite, all they'll give you in return is spite - it's the same reason why someone who wants to take revenge on another man should dig two graves. But if you return spite with dignity and courtesy and kindness, many of them will still hate you for what you are...but some will see the spiteful image of their fellows and compare it to what they see in you, and they will change their ways. If you want to diminish racism by others, that is how to do so.
