FBI investigating Bundy supporters in BLM dispute[W:338]

If you're in law enforcement you should know the criminal code, hence "potential" only makes an LEO look like an incompetent moron.

Sorry, but cows eating is not a "potential crime" and the government/FBI (the same cult that have murdered hundreds of people) that follow orders and attack Bundy and tried to intimidate individuals who weren't looking for any problems are in the wrong.

If the government backed off the problem would be resolved - which the government did and now they're probing individuals lives?

The best part is that people actually have the ****ing audacity to claim our government isn't authoritarian???

It use to be called "open range." It's an American thing.

I deal with the BLM and it's Rangers all of the time. Personally I've never had a problem with the BLM. I'm aware of a few real ass hole Rangers.

But I've never met a rancher who hasn't been ****ed around by the BLM.

Hm, lemme see here - the conservatives on the Supreme Court pretty much allowed unlimited donations by individuals and corporations...and you wonder why the government's "helpless to resist"? The power of corporations and the rich over our government is a problem of the GOP's making. Y'all wanted the rich to be able to contribute as much as they wanted...and now we live in an oligarchy, according to this article in the VERY right-leaning Washington Times. It quotes a study by Princeton:

“The central point that emerges from our research is that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence,” the study found.

The study also found: “When a majority of citizens disagrees with economic elites and/or with organized interests, they generally lose.”

Don't get me wrong - our government's always depended on being able to buy supplies from the private sector - it's absolutely crucial that we could do so. But when the rich have free rein to spend whatever they will to get their way with the government, every politician knows that to take on corporate corruption is all to often nothing more than a prelude to a loss in the next election. That, sir, is why there's so little accountability in government for this overspending.

Perhaps the most glaring example is Bush's Medicare Part D, where Medicare was disallowed from being able to negotiate lower prices for medications. Big Pharma's one of the richest sectors out there...and any politician who tries to get rid of that ban on negotiation is signing his career's death warrant. Your side did this...and it's costing each and every one of us, every day.

There shouldn't be an investigation... This "investigation" further proves our government is intrusive.

Furthermore their findings will be moot anyways...

This is quite literally a witch hunt - and an act of retribution.

IDK, maybe start with investigating actual terrorists and actual criminals instead of cows eating grass.

How about the FBI focus' on actual threats instead of a bunch of citizens that made their butt hurt?

I believe your concern is installing a 'rule of the jungle', void of social considerations, wherein morons can do whatever they want under the guise of "freedom" and "democracy".

I suppose it is, IMO, most people that say stuff like that are anti government, much like Bundy and his militia friends.

In comparison, I can think back in time when the FBI investigated well known political and rights activists who were eyed by the FBI, this shouldn't come as a shock or a surprise to anyone, it's what they do.

"Social constructs" are highly subjective - which is why we have a democracy - it is just too bad our democracy failed us due to corruption and manipulation.
