FBI investigating Bundy supporters in BLM dispute[W:338]

I suppose we could end this whole debate right now with just stating that this situation is all about welfare for cattle. lol

I know progs are anti-Bundy but are they anti-cattle?

I wonder how PETA feels about this? denying food to poor cattle lol. Considering the majority of PETA members are progressives I'm sure they're extremely confused on which position to take...

Troll much?

Bundy is in violation of federal grazing regulations. He owes the taxpayers of the US over 1 million in fees and fines.

He broke the law.

I do not support anyone grazing illegally on federal or state lands.

I'm not the one who keeps saying that Bundy is collecting "welfare".

I never said he did.
You also troll much?

Ever been out west much? Bet you think a cattle guard is a paid person.:lamo

May want to look into who is making up many of the militias today. This aint a bunch of loser like back in the 80s. Many of these guys are current and former US military. And they are not just a bunch of rednecks, as you say, with hunting rifles. Short of full auto most of them have the same personal weapons as most GIs. So if you want a fight, I think it can be made to happen with one shot.

Most are dumb fat and loud mouth snooks who sit at home typing about the coming of martial law and other crap.

Of the ones who went to Nevada they spent as much time fighting each other as confronting the Feds... I refer to the split between Oath Keepers and the adhoc TP militia according to Oath Keeper Founder Stuart Rhodes.

Since you are not former military let me let you in on a few little secrets- there are old grunts and there are bold grunts but there are very few old, bold grunts. These old posers and rabble rousers are quick to be Taliban and use women as human shields but I still don't see them as of the same capability in anything but a point blank gunfight where any physical stamina is moot.

Now according to KLAS-TV it was 400 militia vs 30 local law enforcement, according to reporter George Knapp the crowd attempting to goad the professionals from law enforcement with insults and threats...

Yeah, hide behind women, fight among themselves, outnumber the cops 10 to 1 and attempt to goad the police...

YOU maybe impressed by such punks.... my training sees rabble that wouldn't last a day in a real situation....

]I'm not really a guitar collector but I come from a family - both immediate and extended - of musicians so I knew what it was.[/B]

If it matters the woman who sold me the guitar didn't even want to sell me the Martin unless I bought 6 other guitars so it was a lot for 100 bucks.

I generally go to garage sales to find interesting items and antiques and if I'm lucky vintage sports cards.

At any rate the Martin is in my dads recording studio - I own it but he loves displaying it. The only problem with the guitar is that the neck is slightly warped, however that can be fixed.

Also, the Martin came it the coolest case - very awesome and a good find.
If that guitar is in exceptional condition, you can put a kid through a good college with it. Take it to Hog Eye Music in Evanston for the neck reset. They are an authorized Martin repair place. They're the only shop in this state that I'd trust with that guitar. You're a lucky person to own that instrument. Store it well and treat it properly.

Okay, but the poster said that Bundy was stealing and committing crimes against the federal government. I was asking him if it's common practice for our government to not arrest people who they know are committing crimes. It wasn't anything about policemen.

Which is an interesting concept because cops can arrest you for whatever they want and it's up to you to prove your case to a judge which is why your typical prick cop says: "tell it to the judge."

You see - cops know this and they damn well know you will spend 15 hours in jail as "punishment" and they face no consequences for their actions even if you are found not guilty for nefarious charges.

In short - most cops are authoritarian dicks.

No, I don't troll, and no, I don't think a cattle guard is a paid person. Was that a joke?

So have the government collect his fees and fines. It won't affect me one way or another if Bundy pays them or not. I don't care if he does or doesn't.

But of course the subject of this thread isn't about who Bundy owes money to, is it.

I have inlaws who are/were NYPD. I don't have a bad nor a good opinon of cops either way.

So, when we have people who confront law enforcement with guns in order to keep them from evicting a freeloader who refuses to pay for the use of federal lands, who offer to put their women on the front lines so that, should the shooting start, the agents will look bad for shooting them (remember: Taliban) then the FBI is likely to want to investigate those people.

Who saw that one coming?

Is anyone surprised that the FBI is involved in this?

I'm surprised that it took them this long to show up. My guess is that they've been quietly collecting evidence, and one or more people are going to be in a heap of trouble when this is over with.

Well my grandparents had 14 kids on my moms side - not to mention my dads side, so I have at least 175 cousins and counting and surprisingly none of them are lawyers or cops... Most are academics.

I will say if I did have a cousin that was a cop I would belittle him/her (I have my reasons)...

Muslim terrorists have dozens of virgins waiting for them in paradise when they die for their cause, what do these guys get?

Any ideas?
Freedom for their family. There was a group of people 230 years ago there were told they couldn't win also.

Keep thinking that. When or if it every goes down, please stay on the side line and learn to bow to your masters.

Bundy's thugs are threatening BLM employees with death threats. If that doesn't require an FBI investigation, then what does?

"....With anti-government sentiments roiling in the aftermath of Cliven Bundy’s Nevada standoff, government workers in western Utah are stripping BLM logos from their vehicles after two motorists brandished a gun and displayed a threatening sign at a federal wrangler who was driving Tuesday in Juab County.

The wrangler was driving a load of horses and burros north on Interstate 15 about 11 a.m. near Mills when a dark blue Dodge 1500 extended-cab pickup pulled up alongside the wrangler. The two occupants "told him he was No. 1 with that certain gesture," said Eric Reid, the wrangler’s supervisor at the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s Fillmore Field Office.

The pickup fell back and the wrangler continued north. A few minutes later, the pickup reappeared, Reid said. The men, wearing hoods, held up a sign, apparently scrawled on a piece of paper, that read, "You need to die." One of the men pointed what appeared to be a Glock handgun at the wrangler.

The wrangler tried to make out a license plate number, but the plate had been covered with duct tape, Reid said....read...

I know it's value and I knew exactly what I was buying - I just wasn't expecting to find a Martin at a garage sale lol,

I pretty much grew up in a recording studio so I know what I have - or more precisely I'm familiar with instruments and brands.

What kind of music do you play and are you a published artist or just recreational?

So, here it comes....Round 2.

And in true authoritarian style, a full propaganda effort will accompany the suppression of any possible uprising to ensure that the sheep soaking up the reports will know who "the bad guy" is supposed to be....

Remember Orwell.....OBEY!

Yeah, how DARE that FBI come out and investigate a group that is posting armed checkpoints demanding identification from people who are driving on PUBLIC roads through the area!

I mean, really - how is it "freedom" and "liberty" when they're posting armed checkpoints demanding ID from people driving on public roads? Dude, y'all really need to get a clue.

Freedom for their family.
There was a group of people 230 years ago there were told they couldn't win also.

If those people would have fought for freedom and equal rights for the Black slaves and the women in the colonies also I'd have a lot more respect for them.

Times were different. But in the end this is a nation with many freedoms and my protections for those freedoms.

Correct.

However, using public lands without paying for the privilege is not among those freedoms. Refusing to pay you bills never has been a freedom.

This was a surprise...

So waddya think ... will Holder be more focused on Bundy or following on Lerner's contempt citation.

I sent you a PM. Not sure if it went through however.

Correct.

Well, let the games begin. Because don't seem like he is budging.

In fact they did. It was called the Civil War.

Oh that's right! You only want the wealthy tossed in prison. I forgot....my bad. I have to remember your class envy when posting to you.
...and I will have to remember you class hatred for poor people that is so strong you wish to see them put in prison ...just for being poor.
