RIP Bob Hoskins

Not sure I knew him.

He was a cross between a heavy and a lovable lug

Hell of an actor. Long Good Friday is one of the best gangster films out there. The last scene is amazing.

Is it wrong that I remember him most as "Mario" in Super Mario Bros?

BBC News - Bob Hoskins dies of pneumonia aged 71

Actor Bob Hoskins, who was best known for roles in The Long Good Friday and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, has died of pneumonia at the age of 71.

I didn't recognize the name, but I did the face when I checked the article - a fine character actor, the type who makes a film memorable because of their portrayals in bit parts.

RIP.

Yep, Hook as well, played the right hand man of Dustin's Captain Hook.

LOL! Smee. Another one I thought of since we just watched it a little while ago. I own Super Mario Bros though, but not Hook. Now, I did think of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? pretty quickly as well though. (You can kinda tell what sort of movies I tend to go for.)
