GOP lawmaker: 'Men are more motivated' than women

The left needs to obfuscate the truth about the "gender wage gap" to appease incredibly stupid women. Anyone with a shred of research ability knows that the myth is dispelled, but it's a huge talking point for liberals. They need the myth to perpetuate.

They do the same thing with African-Americans.

If you ask anyone on the left , especially a feminist where one can find a company or business which pays more to a man than to a woman based on gender you get no response.

The basic starting wage or salary for any two people with equivelant backgrounds is the same in nearly every profession and occupation. If I and a woman with identical background and credentials start work anywhere we willget paid the same. Give it some time and one of us will probably make more than the other based on any number of factors which we decide on as individuals.

The one glaring exception I am aware of is pornagraphy , women get paid a lot more than men do when they start working as a pornagraphic performer.

I'll admit to not being up on my pornography. Do the women get paid more than the men?

Exactly.

I hear ya.

The truth is that it doesn't exist, and in some cases it should. Would I hire a woman in her 20s, recently married and looking to start a family? Nope. The reasons should be obvious. If I did, I would expect to pay her less. I wouldn't hire a woman in her 30s with multiple school-aged children either - not for the same pay, at least. Why? Once again, the reasons should be obvious.

The studies I've read show that, once they reach menopausal age, the wage gap is practically non-existent.

Yes they do, because they're more in demand. I think the gay-for-pay dudes get more though.

Having said that, I'm not discussing this further. :lamo

Lets get back to your original statement, because frankly, you have forgotten what you said:

You see, his general point....is to oppose the equal pay legislation.

His supporting argument to support his position, his "general point", is to use non-sequitur argument...such as:
I was referring to his general point about the men more traditionally feeling the pressure to be the breadwinner. Live I've said so many times now. Don't blame me if you struggle to understand something I've said repeatedly.

These are arguments that do not apply to RATE OF PAY. Women who do these same risky jobs, put in the same hours, should not be denied the same RATE OF PAY.
I agree. *shrugs*

That has nothing to do with what I said, or what he said in the video.

You can try to argue that you are not replying to his position on the legislation, but really, you are, when you talk about his "general point".
Only those who know they've lost the discussion try to tell the other person what they were saying. Good job at the attempt on the transparent strawman, but it's not what I said nor was it to what I was referring.

Once again, I cannot help you notice the all important question.

"Are you disputing there is generally more societal pressure on the man to be the financial provider for the family?"

If you have ANY interest at all in an honest discussion, and are not just here to rant about things I've never said, you'll answer this question directly.
