Who said anything about not allowing you to vote? Oh that was you. No one is stopping you from believing whatever fairy tales you want. But in the practice of your religion you are discriminating against others. There's the problem.
 
Oregon is anything but a "very" blue state.
Not only is this year's Senate race in OR rated "likely" Dem, not "solid", the POTUS race in 2012 was rated "lean", not likely/solid.
You're missing the changing demos of the Mormon spread into Eastern OR as well as the fed-up spread up of Con Californians .

the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.

so if you cannot tolerate someone else's opinions or beliefs then you are intolerant.

seattle which is one of the largest cities there is very blue and very liberal. other than the terrible cold weather one of the other reasons i would never move there.
