It ain't, but this is the second time in recent history that there was an active shooter on this Fort.

BTW, aren't all those laws about monitoring the People and gathering all our data and drones and patriot act nonsense supposed to stop things like this? Hmmmm...

Ft Hood is not a restricted base...Hood has thousands of civilian workers. All is needed is a pass to get on post. Any number of workers could have easily brought a weapon with them.

I live right next door to one of the largest, Joint Base Lewis McMcord (JBLM). JBLM, Hood, Bragg and Campbell are all in excess of 200,000 in population. Bragg is the biggest, followed by Hood, then Campbell and Lewis.

And here I thought all those warrantless searches and massive data collection and analysis and the plethora of other Big Brother activities were gonna keep me safe.

Not sure which one you are referring to but there was that guy that stole the tank and went smashing into all the cars and poles and such...

The vast majority of Americans believe in such a thing as CiC overlap between administrations .

When we had a tragedy in 9/11 as you mentioned it, there were no lefties and righties.
President Bush had the full support of the Nation, as you know, and as he should have.
The blood of our Soldiers knows no lean NP .
