Tomboy pressured to leave Christian school [W: 87]

Pay attention.

I did not ask you why you support letting businesses exclude blacks.

I asked how allowing businesses to exclude blacks is not racism?

Because I don't agree with him. As a libertarian, I can support the man without supporting the opinion.

That's what radicals do.

I could tell you were a liberal even without looking at your declaration because you turned the argument against the person rather than engaging the substance of what he said. Classic liberal technique when they're on the losing side of an argument.

I support businesses refusing to serve you. That makes me a defender of liberty and human rights.

Would you share your zip code with us here. I'll generate a census derived demographic map and we can see whether you are all talk or whether you choose to live an anti-racist lifestyle by living in an extremely diverse neighborhood.

You've shown that you can talk the talk, let's see if you also walk the talk.

Out of curiosity, how does where I live support racism? I moved into my house because it was close to my stepdaughter father's house and we could be more near her. How does that support racism unlike what you supported with schools and businesses being allowed to kick out blacks?

Again, I didn't ask why you support racism. And I didn't ask why you supported racists.

I asked how letting businesses to exclude blacks is not racism.

It's funny watching you, after proclaiming how you wanted to fight socialism, run away from a very simple question.

Okay...so if a woman is pro-choice with other women but would never abort her own unwanted fetus because it's against her own personal belief, is she pro-life?

Talk is cheap. You're thundering around this forum judging people and declaring them racists. You're like a Fundie preacher proclaiming people to be sinners!!!!!

I want to see if you live by the code you profess. Have you sought out a neighborhood with supremely high diversity so that you can fully enjoy that anti-racist environment?

I moved into my house because it was close to my stepdaughter father's house and we could be more near her.

But if anti-racism is so important then shouldn't that value come before the value of living close to your stepdaughter's residence? You're firing salvos at people who value liberty higher than anti-racism and declaring that they're wrong for valuing liberty so highly, that they should jettison their support for liberty and adopt "anti-racism at all costs" as their highest value. Well, if you're calling on them to adopt "anti-racism as the highest value" then shouldn't you be doing the same? Move to the most diverse neighborhood you can find even if it means moving away from your stepdaughter because you've told us all that no value can be higher than anti-racism.

For such a brave fighter, you sure are doing everything you can to not answer a simple question:

How is letting businesses exclude blacks not racism?

I'm done being trolled. Either you get it and you're egging this on, or I need flash cards I don't currently have on me. Have a nice night.

I claimed that BUSINESSES and SCHOOLS should not be able to kick out blacks. YOU are in support of them being able to. Please tell me again where I live at has WHAT to do with racism? Am I kicking people out from where I live? NO. do you support kicking out blacks from schools and businesses? YES. Nuff said on who supports racism. YOU do.

I'm done being trolled. Either you get it and you're egging this on, or I need flash cards I don't currently have on me. Have a nice night.

You won't asnwer because you know the answer is YES, you support racism.

Well, of course, she actually wasn't kicked out of school and her parents or grandparents were the ones to take her out of school, but y'know, little facts like that really have no bearing on anything.

So, treating people like crap doesn't matter unless they do the crappier thing?

I pointed out how letting businesses exclude blacks is racism, and you said that it sounded stupid.

So why won't you explain how it's not racism to let businesses exclude blacks?

Is it because you know it is racism (which is why you wouldn't do that yourself), and that by supporting it, you are supporting racism?

You know, there's a word for people who support racism, don't you?

BTW, if you had a business why wouldn't you exclude blacks?

You won't asnwer because you know the answer is YES, you support racism.

Okay, listen really, really carefully. I mean really carefully.

If I have a business and I personally forbid blacks, I am a racist.

If someone ELSE has a business that refuses to serve blacks, but I refuse to actively destroy it, I am not racist.

Tell me how I hate gays because I ate lunch at a Chick-Fil-A yesterday.

I claimed that BUSINESSES and SCHOOLS should not be able to kick out blacks.

I never claimed anything, I just jumped into a discussion that was already taking place. My position is that public schools have no business in racially discriminating. They should operate on an all-comers basis. Businesses are not government, they're private and they should have the right to discriminate as they please, just like you're not government and should have the freedom to live where you please and associate with whomever you please.

Please tell me again where I live at has WHAT to do with racism?

Tell you again? Why, are you "hard of reading?" I can understand someone who is near deaf asking for a person to repeat what they said, but why do I need to repeat what I wrote, why can't you just read what I wrote again and again and again until you understand it?

Let me help you out because I don't want anyone to charge that I'm picking on an invalid. I think that you're all talk, I want to see if you put anti-racism as the highest value in your life. The best way to do that is to see where you've chosen to live and where you've chosen to send your stepdaughter to school. After all, if anti-racism is so great and diversity is so great, then why would you want to deny your stepdaughter the pleasure, joy and enriching experience of experiencing diversity in its full glory in the middle of a ghetto.

Now to be honest with you, I do understand why you're fighting so hard to not reveal your zip code, you don't want to be publicly exposed as hypocrite. You're kind of like Senator Larry Craig shooting off his mouth about the evils of homosexuality and then cruising public restrooms with his "wide stance" in search of some hot homosexual restroom sex.

Yet again, where does where I live support racism? If I agree with kicking out blacks in my neighborhood, I would support racism.

YOU support businesses kicking out blacks, therefore you support racism. Nuff said again.

I did not say you were a racist. I did say that you were supporting racism

Since you now admit that a business that forbid serving blacks would be racism, and since you are supporting their "right" to practice racism, then you *are* supporting racism

And I hate gays because i ate lunch at Chick-Fil-A. Liberal transitive property.

Do you support people having the freedom to live where they please? What if that results in residential segregation? Aren't you supporting racism by allowing such segregation to emerge? Shouldn't government manage the process of where you end up living so that residential segregation vanishes?

You have admitted that a business that refuses to serve blacks is racism, and you have admitted supporting their "right" to do so.

So how does that make you "not supporting racism'?

It is only racist if those people living in that community fight to kick out other races or prevent other races from coming into the neighborhood.

It is clear you have no understanding of racism.

Fine, whatever you say, Wide Stance. Why don't we get back on topic?

Not wide stance, FACT. You claimed otherwise and were proven wrong.

It appears this thread has drifted off as does most driftwood. But you have to wonder how the 8 year old child feels. Put yourself in this kid's shoes and try to figure how out it would feel to have to go to another school because you were too different than you classmates.

I remember growing up and there were a couple farm girls who could give the boys a run for the money. In the early school ages sometimes the tallest student in class would be a girl as boys tended to get their sizes later. They may have not been stronger than the boys but they liked sports too. They may not have been into Barbies and such but I reflect back now and I think they turned out okay.

Maybe this is just a little bit too much concern about those who won't dance to the same drummer.
