Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263:617]

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

How does any of that explain your contention of 42 million yet convered?

My comments were in response to another poster who claimed the number was 48 million so if 6 million are signed up wouldn't that make 42 million uninsured assuming that all 6 million were uninsured in the first place? Try to keep up and see who the response was to

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

You forgot the part about skyrocketing, and I mean SKYROCKETING, deductibles and copays (for those still offered a copay), and quickly rising annual rates.

This new system is criminal to the poor. They can't pay these deductibles and copays, so they'll be forced into the oncoming third-world single payer system that is the root of this whole plan.

Yeah, I miss the days before ACA when deductibles and co-pays used to always go down.

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

Again, it doesn't matter to you. That's my point. How many times should I say it before you'll understand it?

You don't like Obamacare because it was passed by the Democrat. No matter WHAT comes out about it, you'll find a way to criticize, it's what people like you do. You have no care to objectively evaluate, you just play team politics. People like you is why our political system is so terrible these days. You vote based on a letter, not a position or facts.

On the issue of Obamacare you are right, it doesn't matter to me. I don't support Federal involvement in the healthcare issue since it is a state issue. I don't like Obamacare because it violates the role of the state govt. since all healthcare expenses for the uninsured go to the state taxpayers.

It is people like you that promote the partisan bs we see here including OP's like this one. There are no facts that support the proper establishment and implementation of Obamacare

LOL, declining?

yes, declining

No, because there are additional millions getting insurance through the expansion of Medicaid and SHIP, buying plans outside of the exchange, and children under 26 who are covered specifically due to provisions in ACA

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

By the way since you used quotes how about giving me the post where I made that statement?
I wasn't quoting you, I was ascribing to you your position. It's a fairly common practice.
On the issue of Obamacare you are right, it doesn't matter to me.
Exactly. You will criticize it no matter what. That's why it's impossible to take your opinion on whether it's been a success seriously. Make sense now, or should I explain it slower?

I'm not promoting anything, simply noting people like you don't care about facts only partisanship.

Interesting, don't see the 40 million or 48 million that liberals like to tout. where are the additional people and in a country of 312 million Americans we need national healthcare for 6 million Americans? Why can't the people of the states handle that? Guess debt doesn't bother people like you? How long before we have eating standards to prevent people from becoming obese and in need of heathcare insurance? Guess personal choice only matters to a liberal when it comes to murdering the unborn?

Millions? How many people signed up for Medicaid in that 6 million and were eligible for it prior to Obamacare? How many of those 6 million were already insured but lost their insurance because of Obamacare?

Why can't the people of the states handle that? Guess debt doesn't bother people like you? How long before we have eating standards to prevent people from becoming obese and in need of heathcare insurance? I can see that you're very concerned about the millions of people who have no insurance

That's why you're celebrating the fact that, thanks to ACA, the uninsured rate is going down.

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

All they have to do is remind everyone 1) The Obama lie 2) Supposed ACA saving money (another lie) 3.) ACA creating jobs (not happening) 4.) 48 million uninsured 5.) A fatal financial flaw in the law itself, and it will cost taxpayers or insured much more than they thought.

Lastly, but certainly not least --- it's the Federal Government. Even if everything went 100% smooth there's still a 95% chance of failure because the Fed Gov has a horrid track record on running sweeping large programs. Sooner or later, it gets all screwed to hell.

Then what's the answer to the untenable healthcare costs?

Yes, and I can see that personal choice to you only matters when it comes to choosing to murder the unborn. I can see that you want badly to buy the Administration rhetoric and refuse to answer the direct question. How many of those 6 million were insured and lost their insurance because of Obamacare? How many of those 6 million were eligible for Medicaid but hadn't signed up? Tell me exactly why Democrats are running away from Obamacare since it is such a great program?

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

Yes, millions. That's why, thanks to ACA, the uninsured rate is going down.

So the uninsured dropped 2%, how many of those people signed up were eligible for Medicaid without Obamacare? 2% of 40 million would be 8 million so looks like we are missing 2 millions somewhere.

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

Yes, and I can see that personal choice to you only matters when it comes to choosing to murder the unborn.

Gee, and I thought you were so worried about the uninsured, but now it's all about abortion.

Imagine my surprise!!!

No, it is about personal choice, people choosing not to buy health insurance

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

Then what's the answer to the untenable healthcare costs?

What untenable healthcare costs? The current ones under the ACA?

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

And as someone who is so concerned about the uninsured, I'm sure you will celebrate the millions who now have insurance thanks to ACA

Just like a liberal, won't answer a direct question, how many of those 6 million were insured and lost their insurance due to Obamacare? How many of those 6 million were eligible for Medicaid prior to Obamacare? Seems like all you want to do is troll and never answer any questions

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

So after whining about the uninsured for post after post, you don't really care about the uninsured?

Just showing the hypocrisy of liberalism, personal choice only matters when it comes to issues that liberals think are important, like abortion. People choosing NOT to purchase healthcare have to be punished in the liberal world with higher deductibles and premiums supported by someone else.

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

Just like a liberal, won't answer a direct question, how many of those 6 million were insured and lost their insurance due to Obamacare? How many of those 6 million were eligible for Medicaid prior to Obamacare? Seems like all you want to do is troll and never answer any questions

SO now you're back to being concerned about the uninsured?

re: Obamacare tops 6 million signups [W:263]

SO now you're back to being concerned about the uninsured?

And you are doing what you always do ignoring the tough questions

He never answers that question. I've asked him the same thing repeatedly.

I suspect this point nobody knows the answers, not even HHUS.
