Uh oh  .....Team Obama is quite furious with the Israeli Defense Minister. Didn't like what he had to say about Kerry. Word is Kerry was hot under his White Stiff Collard Shirt and called Netanyahu directly? Is he suppose to be doing things like that?

The Obama administration on Wednesday vented its anger at public insults and criticism of President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry by Israel's defense minister.

The State Department said Kerry called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to protest recent remarks by Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, who had accused the Obama administration of being weak on Iran and questioned its commitment to Israel's security. Previously, Yaalon has criticized Kerry personally for being unrealistic and naive in trying to forge an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.

She declined to characterize Netanyahu's response to Kerry's protests and referred questions about that to the Israeli government.

In remarks quoted in Israeli reports on Tuesday, Yaalon criticized the U.S. for not leading a campaign against Iran. He has been previously quoted as saying Kerry is "obsessive" and "messianic" about Middle East peace.....snip~

You can hardly blame them. First of all, they're right. And second of all, their security is largely dependent on an anti-Semite POTUS. We've seen what happens when you have to depend on Obama, ala Benghazi.

Is wittle ol' Isweal angwy?

They can't wag our wittle tail anymore?

How about this Israel. YOU fix Iran! We don't OWE you ****!

And, when you're done, go **** yourself.

Yeah, THAT'S the ticket.

Love me some Jewish people but can't stand the GoI sometimes.

Heya Cap :2wave: Are you saying that it is alright that Kerry.....just a SOS. Should be able to call up the Leader of another Country on the phone to complain?

Freedom of speech doesn't apply to Israel?

Greetings, MMC. :2wave:

I imagine Israel is getting nervous considering Russia is supposed to take the lead here....

Even Hillary wasn't that thin-skinned!

Are you under the impression that Congress is passing a law that would punish Israel for saying this?

All this proves is that the US isn't Israels puppet.

Nazis, Arabs and other antisemetic morons are always claiming that there is alot of Israeli influence over US politics.

But I am starting to belive that it is the other way arround. There is to much US right wing-religious fanatic influence over Israeli politics.

It seems like the Israeli right wing has no interest whatsoever in negotiating anything with a democratic whitehouse or senate, but prefer waiting for a republican with second coming fantasies.

And that seems to piss a lot of people off. I wonder why? Are we Israel's bitch? America needs to grow a pair on that front.

You mean like the right wingers convinced the Iran hostage takers to keep the hostages until after the election in order to f' Carter over? I can see where you'd think that, but I think it's more that they've always just been in cahoots whereas the rightwing here is entirely bought and paid for by AiPAc.

Israel is a big boy country, they can take care of their own problems. Why do we have to be the ones bailing them out or scolding the bullies for them?

Are you under the impression that Congress is passing a law that would punish Israel for saying this?

It wouldn't surprise me if Reid tried something like that in the Senate! He'd rather do that than bring some of the Jobs bills the House has sent to him, which he has apparently shoved in a drawer, rather than bring them up for a basic Yes or No vote! If Kerry can't handle routine international "heat," he should get out of the kitchen rather than act like a crybaby! God, even Hillary, a mere woman, took her lumps without whining!

Good evening, Deuce. :2wave:

I think Kerry got upset that he was called Obsessive and Messianic.....Do you think it was Kerry's Botox?

Wasn't he suppose to be focused on like oh.....Russia and the Ukraine?

What does that have to do with a lowly lil SOS.....of the US Calling the Head of another country to complain to him about what one of his ministers said? That don't even sound Right.

Kerry isn't part of the Right, so why do you expect him to behave as a rightie?

Nah, I think it is mainly motivated through religious fanatisims especialy in the Southern states of the US.

Evangelical fanatics would rather see the land where Jesus "will return" under Jewish control than Muslim control, so Jesus can convert the Jews and those who refuse damn to hell.

All of which contradicts the entire notion of zionism which is about jewish safety.

In fact it is rather antisemetic and if I could ask the Jewish primeminister a single question it would be:

"What is it like being the jewish primeminister of a jewish nation and to take political and financial support from foreign antisemites?"

Good evening, Deuce. :2wave:

What job bills are those? Seems the only thing the House has done was try to repeal ACA and otherwise just the bare minimum. Oh, wait a minute, I recall a couple of bills, maybe job bills that were loaded with unrelated garbage like repealing ACA and redefining limits on abortion or something like that. Anyway, please, which bills are you speaking about. I'd like to read about them.

Obama is antisemitic now?

I think you'd find the answer to be much as I've presented in my previous post, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Clearly Dems/Left want and have been trying for decades to actually resolve the Israel/Palestine issue that flavors so much of the extremism in the ME that we seem to be steeped in. Republicans are happy to continue these wars into eternity, as is Israel, hence friends.
