Fears of more protest clashes high in Venezuela

No you didn't. However, when you use an article that starts it's premise with terms like "...it's a bit more nuanced..." we all know what follows.

Right, because everything's black and white.

Well that fixed it there.

I mean, just look at the first page:

We have people repeatedly saying that "leftists can't take criticism" (lol what? because rightist regimes don't have protests?), someone who wants to send in SOF, and someone that believes that any protests in the world are supported by the US.

It'd take a thousand monkeys a thousand years to come up with a page that special.

Well you know I don't want to send in SOF, and, if there's protests anywhere in the world that threaten a government that the US would like to see toppled, only an idiot or a naive guy or an apologist would deny US intrigue. Which one are you Old?

Well, we know that nuance has a distinctly leftist bias, don't we? Goodies vs. baddies is a much more conservative approach, I've always found.

True or false: the US would be in a better spot if American presidents made better decisions. Regardless of foreign history in the area.

Absolutely true.

Every country makes bad decisions. Some just make them more frequently and the results are more disasterous. Like with Venezuela and their economic policy.

I've generally found that nuance tends to give much more weight to said nuances then otherwise deserved. A probability adjusted nuance approach is generally the way to go, and that gives results which both liberals and conservatives wouldn't like to believe.

Both, I guess, because that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, and I know I know much more about it than you do.

We have a good economic policy? 17T

We have a good economic policy? 17T

With 17 trillion going on 18. I would say we don't have an economic policy at all. Either that or our economic policy is spend everything we possibly can today because there might not be a tomorrow. Who gives a hoot about kids, grandkids and those not yet born, future generations to come.

Oh I see, only non American governments conspire against other governments.

Again: this is why you believe in conspiracies. It's because your critical thinking isn't any better than an old potato's.

I say: It's dumb to think every protest against a government the US doesn't like has the support of the US.

You read: Only non American governments conspire against other governments.

I mean, can you even understand how you ****ed up there? The US can support protests against governments, but that doesn't mean that every protest is supported by the US government. What is it with your astounding lack of intelligence? It's honestly amazing. I'm in awe of some of the things you come up with, but then I'm just blown away at some of the horrible, horrible, horrible logic you use to support it.

I write not every, and you read none. Monte:

Old, you wouldn't respond to me if you weren't enjoying yourself. I said that "IF" there is a popular protest aimed at overthrowing a government that the US would find beneficial, the US will be supporting that protest. Now you practice reading.

Uhhh cant help you if you didnt read the article...

Yeah, and I said that was asinine.

Now you think that you somehow clarified yourself? You just repeated what I called silly and ridiculous. So...thanks? It's silly and ridiculous, still.

Thousands of 'iron horses' swarm streets in Caracas to vow support for Venezuela's Maduro - YouTube

Thousands of motorcyclists who support the government of Nicolas Maduro drove through the streets of Caracas on Monday (February 24) while anti-government demonstrators put up barricades and set fire to trash in other parts of the city.

As the death toll from the recent wave of violence rose to 13, the motorbike riders vowed support for Maduro.

"What comrade Nicolas Maduro can count on is that the "iron horses" (the motorcyclists) are demonstrating civic behaviour, peace, tolerance and it is done within a legal context, within the constitution and within the law," said Ricardo Vargas, a spokesman for the bikers.

Some have blamed violent acts on the motorcyclists, but the protesters said they were for peace.

You misrepresented what I said.

Sounds like Chavez selling gas for 5 cents/gallon.

It's like you forget that people can see what you typed.

If there's a protest aimed at toppling a government around the world, its bound to be a government that the US would like to see toppled, and the US is bound to be behind it supporting it.

We have people repeatedly saying that "leftists can't take criticism" (lol what? because rightist regimes don't have protests?), someone who wants to send in SOF, and someone that believes that any protests in the world are supported by the US.

What did I misrepresent, exactly? Be specific. Try to stay focused, here. Like walk me through this, logically, please.

I can remember a time when we were close to that. I use to pull into a full service gas station, they would check the air in your tires, wash your windows, check you oil, pump your gas while you told the attendant you wanted a dollars worth. Gas was 19 cents a gallon, I can remember when they had gas wars and the price would drop to 11 or 12 cents. You also got free maps at any gas station.

People? Ha. Toppling foreign governments is not secret US business. Venezuela booted us over it. Only if US interests aren't served by it would there not be involvement.
