I'm more tolerant than people like you are that's for sure. See, I don't care if you think that SSM is wrong, you are free to it. What I fight against is you legally being able to prevent it. That's the difference. You fight AGAINST people's rights like many social conservatives do.

Feel free to fight the existing law. The existing law legally prevents it.

As for who you voted for...I'll accept you at your word that you didnt vote for Obama...as you said...in 2012. I find it hard to believe...but OK. And what about 2008 (you made the qualification)? And just for fun...who DID you vote for?

Yes, I voted for Obama in 2008. At the time I thought he would be better than McCain and the disaster Palin. I stopped supporting Obama right after he rammed the ACA down the throats of the GOP and the bailouts. If you don't believe me, do a search of my posts. The only thing I really defend Obama on is from idiots that keep thinking he is a super secret Muslim hell bent on destroying the U.S. Now, what does ANY of this have to do with now?

YOU support the existing law that prevents SSM, therefore you are FOR having rights not given to SS couples and have even said you will continue to deny them those rights if you have the ability to vote to continue the anti-SSM laws. You are quite intolerant. I'm not voting for your rights to believe SSM is wrong yet you would vote to not allow SS couples to marry and I would bet you would vote to not allow them to adopt or raise kids if you had the choice too.

Oh...not much...other than the fact that you voted for and support a guy who's belief on gay marriage mirrors mine and who still believes homosexuality is 'immoral' and only changed his position re government involvement on gay marriage because he had to. Its funny how people ignore that whole "I hate you you ****ing bigot" thing when it involves a candidate they support.

Yes...I do support the existing law. That is correct. As for the 'intolerant' part...well...lets see...I have on numerous occasions offered love, respect, concern, even compassion. I simply dont believe SSM is right and that the law shouldnt be changed. If you wish to label that as hatred and intolerance...well...then by all means...continue to display your hatred and intolerance.

Lets talk about what that 'actively fighting' thing means to you. If you mean I occasionally respond to the daily barrage of "**** you I hate you you are a bigot **** you **** you **** you!!!" Then...yes...I suppose I 'actively fight' to keep the laws the same. And yes...you like others continue to spew your venom and hatred towards anyone that dares to disagree with you on the subject. Except...well...that guy you voted for.

That's funny considering I've critized Obama and his policies numerous times and I didn't vote for in 2012. Nice try, but you lose again. But please continue with the "victim" card you are trying to play. It's quite amusing to see you cry victim when it is YOU who is so intolerant that you would vote to keep SSM illegal if you could. And throughout the discussion I have been polite, respectful, and expressed love and concern. You on the other hand...others like you...you put your hatred and intolerance on full display for anyone that dares to disagree with you.

So...we ARE clear...while you express loathing and disdain for those like 'me' you voted for someone that expressed mirrored views. And as for who I voted for...I voted in order for Bednarik, Barr, and Johnson (though I think Root would have been a far superior candidate in 2012). Johnson presented as a reasonable alternative candidate in the primaries...then lost his mind in the campaign. Shame.

I kind of wonder if some even know what a bigot is ?

Most men of the cloth, priest, pastors, preachers, rabbis, etc. are all bigots by the definition. Most Green Bay Packers fans meet the definition of being bigots.

I suppose most LGBT activist are bigots depending how strong their feelings are about wanting more than the whole nine yards.

Well you must have a lax view of using the term then. Anything I've ever considered it used for in context of discrimination is when that discriminatory "opinion" is forced on others through laws or the through the lack of protection of laws. So do the GBP fans stop others from being fans of other teams, do that refuse them services or entry in to their business or employment, do GBP fans keep Seahawk fans, for example, from being able to see their lovers in the hospital? Or do they limit the tax rules and regs to only GBP fans? Do they require all other fans to jump through costly legal hoops to be considered a legal partnership? Are other fans restricted from adopting children? Are the children of GBP fans likely to beat up or otherwise try to humiliate the children of other fans?

Not the same at all. But for you idiots and ignoramuses of the religious right, I get that you are too simplistic in your thinking and ability to comprehend such that you'd embarrass yourself by suggesting that bigotry is the same a team rivalry.
