Rainbow Flag Will Fly Over Montreal City Hall During Olympics

1.)I was not aware that the Olympics was a gay advocacy program.
2.) Isn't it about physical ability?

1.) never said it was
2.) no its about many things besides that

I also don't see many athletes boycotting the games

who asked for athletes to boycott? i wouldnt want that that only punishes the athletes that worked so hard and not the bigots

its a nice gesture but id like to see more

what SHOULD be done is going forward in the future any country that has such bigoted laws should simply be ineligible for the olympics

Agent J, what's your honest opinion of hetrosexuals not being allowed to participate in the Gay Olympics aka Gay Games ?

This year the USA is the host of the Gay Olympics.

Gay Games 9 Presented by the Cleveland Foundation

If there were a Hetrosexual Olympics, what would the LBGT activist response be ? I think we pretty much know what it would be.

If you are gay or feel that strongly about Gay rights then you should boycott it, by participating they are validating Russia's stance and the Putin regime.

1.) I have no idea what the gay olympics are

2.) again dont know what it is

3.) from your link

"The 2014 Gay Games is about fun, games and culture too. The founding principles of Participation, Inclusion and Personal Best mean the Games are open to everybody regardless of sexual orientation, gender, transgender status, religion, nationality, political convictions, age, physical condition or athletic ability."

"About the Gay Games
The Gay Games is an international sporting and cultural event held every four years under the founding principles of Participation, Inclusion and Personal Best™. Launched in 1982, the Games invite participation from everybody, regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender, religion, nationality, ethnic origin, political beliefs, athletic or artistic ability, age, physical challenge or health status. "

so what was your question again?

you are welcome to that opinion but thats all it is, participation in the "OLYMPICS" has nothing to do with russias bigotry  thats just stupid lol

Let me restate the question, if someone doesn't know what the Gay Games are, does that mean they're homophobic ?

When I found out today that the Ruskies were shooting all of the stray dogs on the streets of Sochi, I decided to boycott NBC.

Where the #### is PETA ?

Of course it does your using their facilities, paid for by their money and participating in an event which is being used to validate and strengthen Russia's global brand. Sport has always been and will always be used as a political tool.

this picture is the English football team playing Germany in 1938, this picture would haunt the English FA for years to come.

Russian's solve most of their problems by shooting it. PETA is not in Russia because they'd shoot PETA as well. :2razz: I'm exaggerating of course, but "humanistic" and "subtle" are not the Russian way. What kills me is how unprepared Sochi is for the games to start. It's really sad and I would not be surprised if most events saw little to no crowds given the terrorist threats and bad water/plumbing/lack of pillows/etc.

1.)I wont be able to answer that question until I hit the sack later on tonight.
2.) If she's moaning and she has an orgasam, I'm still straight.

1.) hint the answers to both are the same
2.) no that doesnt prove it at all

I would also assume that the various agents from each country would prevent that from happening.

And what right would they have to stop the Russian police? They have little or no legal status in Russia and if the Russian police wants to arrest someone, the agenst/officers from that country will have little or no means to stop that arrest.

This is a picture of an elementary school in America in or around 1940 while the students are pledging their allegiance to America.

1) lol @ dismissing an opinion, for being an oipinion, then countering it with one of your own

2) Participation in the *russian* Olympics clearly has something to do with Russia's bigotry. Since you are basically accepting the political framework the Russian games operate under. Now, one can argue a better political message can be made by attending the games and voicing one's opposition to such policy. But it makes no sense to claim the Russian Olympics have nothing to do with russia, it's politics, culture, or view towards homosexuality

You can also fly the Canadian flag, it represents freedom as well, even for those groups that did not have freedom under the 13 stars and for homosexuals.

The Canadian flag was adopted 100 years after the slaves were freed, so don't even try that bull****.

Something else you oughta know about your beloved Canada, she allowed a Confederate spy ring to operate on her soil. I'm sure you're proud of your country's support for the Southern war effort.

1.) nope, just your opinion which is pretty silly
can i apply that logic to everything?

if the president of a company is jewish should all christians not work there? or buy any products there? thats just dumb
but again you are welcome to your opinion because thats all it is.

If i were guy and made the olympics there's no way i wouldnt compete, why would i punish myself and let the bigots win, they dont want me to compete so it would motivate me even more lol

If i sit at home what does that do, who does that punish?

2.) again some people have that OPINION and doing a Nazi salute is a little different than simply competing

never seen that before, bizzare. Why did they have the kids do that?

Because no one perceived the Nazis as bad guys in 1940. The Progressives of the period worshipped the mother****ers...

1.) didnt dismiss it nor did i claim that my opinion was anything else than that.
More assumptions by you that fail and are factually false so lol is right

2.) again you are free to have that opinion, i disagree LMAO

Like i said if i was gay and made the olympics theres no way i would punish myself and stay at home, they dont want me to play so that would inspire me more, sitting at home is a win for them as far as i would be concerned

Of course it does your using their facilities, paid for by their money and participating in an event which is being used to validate and strengthen Russia's global brand. Sport has always been and will always be used as a political tool.

Well there is still money to be made in Sochi, it also seems there's a door knob shortage.

Worth pointing out that you are also just giving me your opinion...

The English football players were just competing but were asked by the FA to give the salute to be polite to their host, that picture would later be used by the Nazi's for propaganda just as the 1936 Olympics in Berlin were used by the Nazi party as proof that they were not only globally recognised but they were universally accepted. You don't think that Putin will use this Olympics' as proof that Russia has returned as a world power and that he is universally respected? Plenty of great photo op's with global icons and even some gay athletes.
