I agree.

One of the good things about this is that now boxing fans won't have to watch two incompetent fighters embarrass themselves in a boxing ring.

It would be nice if Zimmerman would disappear from the news,but I predict that we will hear more from and about him.

Does anyone have a guess as to what his next stunt might be?

I'd also bet that a lot of fine human beings like me only wish that the man gets exactly what he deserves.

Remember, Zimmerman is the guy who's putting his ass on the line. This is all his stupid idea. No one asked the guy to do this,

What do you think that man deserves?

I would like to see him get his butt whipped so bad that his nose bleeds( Remember-this bout was his idea and he shot and killed a 17-year old kid that he couldn't beat in a street-fight.).

This has been cancelled for a hundred obvious reasons the upmost of which is every media outlet ever invented would have material on this and race again would raise it's ugly head for all of us to see. Every step, every punch would be analyzed a thousand times to try to detect cheating of some form. Officiating this freak show would come under scrutiny as we have never witnessed. This would be like over turning the OJ verdict if the black guy lost in a decision. "Ugly" would be redefined forever.

There was no fight, as in mutual confrontation.
Zimmerman shot and killed an attacker who had sucker punched him knocking him to the ground. That attacker then got on top of him and started slamming his head into the ground as Zimmerman screamed for help.

I would say that the utmost reason is that Simmons said he would not follow the rules in a purposeful attempt to harm.
That creates a liability that I doubt anybody wants to shoulder.

FilmOn says it's gonna give the public what it wants -- blood -- and tells us DMX is out as the challenger because "much bigger names than DMX" want in.

The owner of FilmOn, Alki David, tells TMZ ... the fight will no longer be a celebrity boxing match... "this is going to be like Fight Club ... a very bloody event." Alki says the fight will happen March 15 from a secret location ... and all profits will go to the Trayvon Martin Foundation.

But TMZ has learned the resurrected fight is not yet a done deal -- we're told FilmOn is still negotiating with Feldman for the rights and nothing has been signed.

I uhm... I don't know a ton about this case but from the evidence I have seen.. Zimmerman killed him in self defence, because he thought his life was in danger... and I can't say I blame him By the way why do people keep calling the 17 teen you're old a kid? hes an adult in my opinion it's not some ten year old.... americans seem to baby there teens and I don't know why

Because DMX knows he would get his ass kicked badly by Zimmerman, Zimmerman is bigger and has trained as a boxer - even before the Trayvon incident.

I've seen huge thickheaded men get knocked out by someone half their size, with one punch to the dome.

He may have done it as a hobby, but that doesn't make him invincible.

Did you even read the article? Nowhere did it say DMX was scared to fight him. It mentioned the promoter was receiving death threats to his children.

Further point that Zimmerman just didn't knock Trayvons ass out the second Trayvon charged at him - which translates into the fact Zimmerman had no intention on hurting the "kid" er 17-YEAR-OLD-MAN..... Sorry when you're 17 you're legally an adult (at least in Illinois)...
