George Zimmerman agrees to celebrity boxing match

It's not that I can't or won't answer your question, is that I refuse to do so until you reciprocate some respect, the same amount I gave to you when I chose to respond to your comments and to your requests. I will however, not allow myself to be pushed around in an online debate. A debate = back and forward, not question after question. You can't state what my opinions are on racial profiling because I haven't stated them here. You're projecting so hard I could run powerpoint presentations off you.

So I shall remind you of what you need to do to continue this discussion in a respectable manner and not just leech.

So, if you disagree with me on the fact that the 2 rappers are racist vigilantes and zimmerman is a hero/martyr (take ur pick), argue why.

If you disagree with the fact that the example of the black lawyer that wants to defend blacks that you provided is racist, explain to me why.
After we're done discussing these 2 items, we can move to another.

I await your replies and some common decency.

So what, you're setting ground rules for how I should engage you in a discussion and you're calling me disrespectful. :lamo

Go back and read our exchanges, you made the discussion about another person (me) first. I didn't bring you into this or turn the conversation into being about you. I asked you a question and you jumped my ass and acted like it was wrong for me to ask you questions, remember that? lol.

You made the conversation about me right then and there and you continue to do so. There is no turning back at this point.

You're simply trying to control the flow of the conversation and debate. That is obvious. If you do it once, you'll do it again. Ten to one, you aren't the type of poster worth conversing with, because you will always turn the conversation into a personal matter.

Oh, gawd… this all came about because I asked you question. Really, if you want to throw a fit, take it downstairs…. cause you will continue throwing fits in this thread if any discussion with you continues. I know you're type. There are plenty of people like you on this board, and I know better than wasting my time.

You asked repeated questions without providing a single ounce of input from your part. A debate doesn't work this way. www.debatepolitics.com

I'm not making the conversation about you, but about your absentee opinions/thoughts and about your over inquisitive nature.

So I shall remind you of what you need to do to continue this discussion in a respectable manner and not just leech.

Hmmmm.....sounds an awful lot like you may be profiling. Aren't you against that kind of thinking?

I do not believe their desire to beat him up rises to the occasion of taking the law into their own hands. Payback yes, vigilantism I am not so sure about.

As far as them being racist? In the context of this issue alone I don't see it. They aren't after Zimmerman because of his race. They aren't taking action based upon Trayvon's race, Zimmermans race, or anyone's race. I think they want to beat him up because they think he is a murderer who got away with his crime because they believe the system failed.

Basically I don't see their desire to beat Zimmerman up as an issue of race, more an issue of retribution.

It's racist. They want to go after Zimmerman because he isn't black and he killed a black person. If they just wanted to go after him because he killed Martin in self defense their lives would be incredibly busy going after all the folks who killed in self defense.

That's a really odd way of making a case for racism. You have to assume if Zimmerman were black nobody would care that Trayvon got killed. Which may be true. Race certainly plays a factor here, I'll not deny that. To say they are going after just because he's a non-black who killed a black...like I said earlier I'm just not going to make that assumption. I think their anger is more that they buy into the theory that Zimmerman racially profiled Martin and provoked an incident, unnecessarily, that ended with the kid getting shot and killed. That story seems, on it's face, just as plausible and a bit more in line with the uproar. They are pissed because they think Zimmerman is the racist and he killed a black kid.

Going after Zimmerman because they think he is a murdering racist does not, by itself, make them racist. People are assuming, a lot, that because they are black and Martin was black that this desire for retribution is about Zimmerman's skin color. I don't really buy it.
