Edward Snowden nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize

If you really think that secure.com is safe from government intrusion you are sadly mistaken. Particularly for the things that the NSA was exposed for.
Not secure.com, secure communications. Encryption, why talk in the clear. I said invest in companies which supply secure communications. Buy stock, cash in on the trader Snowden...
I'm talking secure data crypto, upgrade your cryptographic systems. Want a quote?

Why spy on possible terror suspects? We can just sit around and wait for a, "Surprise". Everyone loves surprises. Maybe Snowden was set up to shock everyone to help his company sell more secure data crypto, and upgrades to cryptographic systems. His company is big...

[BS]Someone like Snowden, who appears to be a Conspiracy Theorist first class with a hero complex, would be easy to set up. You talk him up how the NSA is doing all this and that, then you make up projects so silly he thinks they are real, copies them, runs away to save the world... (sorry, a fantasy conspiracy theory about the first up to the board, and now is in Russia, cold) [/BS]

"first up to the board" - refers to the first person in the class to jump up, take the board, show leadership, the type-A leader. NOT, http://first2board.com/

What the heck is secure.com? Nothing is secure when people are involved; evidence? Snowden.
Exposed for? Who did not know the NSA has been doing this for a long time? This is not news. Snowden is the news, leaking secrets to others is the news, not the fact the NSA spies. Not news.

I would say no, just based on principle and what he did. However, given that the Nobel peace Prize has been turned into a joke award over that past couple of decades, why not.

While true that the Nobel Prize committee might be elevated beyond the joke that it currently is (needs to be really), awarding it to Snowden for 'more stable and peaceful world order' I hardly think that this applies.

In the mean time, it's still an ideologically driven joke, given the awards to Gore and Obama. Should it be award to Snowden, this will not change it's standing.
