New York Governor Andrew Cuomo believes that pro-life activists along with anti-gay activists, and supporters of the Second Amendment, are not welcome in his state.

During a radio interview on Friday, Cuomo pointed out that Republicans were in the midst of a schism, where conservatives worked against moderate Republicans.

"Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves," he said. "Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are."

As much as I am for a woman to have the right to choose abortion and I am for SSM being legal, I find these comments from the governor very idiotic.

As a governor, you are in a leadership position and not only represent the people that voted for you but also the people of the state of New York. I find these comments are just plain dividing and serve no real purpose. It also shows a lack of leadership.

New York does not permit the abrogation of fundamental liberties in order to satisfy some people's religious leanings. Feel free to never obtain an abortion yourself and not to work as an abortion provider. But that is all that liberty entitles you to. You don't get to restrict other people's actions to conform to your religion.

THATS whats scary.

Indicative of the modern Low information Democrat voters.

Cuomo is in the top 5 of the people to have a direct connection to the buildup of worthless loans and securities by our GSEs, commiting 2.4 Trillion to the purchase of " affordable loans" when he was Secretary of HUD.

He also removedany of the GSEs reporting requirements when is established his " new rules".

When Janet Reno and Eric Holder wasn't out extorting banks for " discrimination " ,Cuomo's HUD stepped in and extorted 2.1 Billion from ACU Bank.

New Yorkers like him because they're ignorant, ( just the Dems and Progs of-course ).

Imagine they rewarded him with a Governorship...LOL !!

They definitely deserve that corrupt jack ass and his Father too.

It would be nice if the left stream media would present his words to the world, but I scanned NBC and CNN for it today and the story and his quotes aren't there. FOX seems to be the only one willing to present his word...but it is his statement not FOXs, but I realize you were trying to deflect the point of the discussion because of political leanings.

Look at the Fox story. Notice the length of the quotes they make. Instead of running a full quote they chop it to pieces. This is who they are. This is what they do. Context is not their friend and they know it.
