Gov. Cuomo: Pro-life people not welcome in New York

My title was the title of the article. Let's not speak for most Americans, k? That's precisely what has Cuomo in this quagmire. Cuomo, like most liberals (see I can do it too. Is it a one size fits all? In this case, yeah, probably.) does not like having to listen, deal with, understand, or accept other people's views that don't align with his/theirs regardless of the adjective you put it front of it.

and it was what Cuomo said, yet you appear to have rose colored glasses when reading Cuomo's comments, while the hypothetical comments I posted you take at face value. Why? Do you know Cuomo personally that you can vouch for whether he MEANT those comments? please explain(in more than 5 words this time please)

I heard the interview and he said it in a super condescending fashion, including the ending where he continues with, "that's not who New Yorkers are". If I was in New York I'd be outraged. Make me angry as somebody who's not even in NY. I'm not pro-life and in the middle on the gay issue, so the only thing I really disagree with is his assault on the 2nd Amendment. Regardless it's a ridiculous statement and I hope he's held accountable.

Pro-choicers say they believe in choice......that's abortion or not. Cuoma says if pro-choicers don't choose abortion, get the **** out of NY.

First of all, the studies do NOT say that all Fox News viewers are uninformed, it just reports that the data reveals a trend: Fox News view TEND to be less informed than people who prefer other news sources. Second of all, News corporations provide news, not methods of debate. Don't take the study so personally.

Many would simply settle for free speech at universities, but the Left feels that's too dangerous also.

People who don't watch a cross section of opinion, and that certainly includes Fox news, are the ones who are poorly informed, and that's demonstrated on these boards every day.

Abortion is legal, gay marriage is a matter of human rights, and getting hard ons over assault weapons is weird. I wouldn't want extremists who are against abortion, pro-assault weapon and anti-gay in my state either.

Good. Abortion and being gay are legal, while assault weapons are not. Sounds like Coumo wants to keep it that way.

He's bringing up divisive issues and saying anyone NOT on his side on those issues is "extremist". It's fine for you to do that because you're an anonymous nobody; not so good if your the Governor of New York. No moderate would make those comments(and no REAL "centrist" would defend him).

As governor, Coumo has the right to tell morons with assault rifles who want to take away people's rights to stay the hell out of his state.
