Pennsylvania judge strikes down state's voter ID law

When it's destroying this country, it damn sure is. The only stake in this country those voters have is getting freebies from the FedGov.

You mean senior citizens and members of the military right? Nobody takes more than them.

LOL. Ah, those poor poor rich people.

Pretty much since Reagan, the GOP has essentially **** all over the poor with their "welfare queens" rhetoric. So spare me the lamenting for how bad the rich have it in this country.

Conservative = Rich....LOL! You just verified my point.

Senior citizens have worked a lifetime to deserve their benefits and the military is sacrificing for this country.

Your point?

The discussion is about "class warfare." There's no such thing as "class warfare" against conservatives. Conservative is not a class.

why are you so sure she intentionally lied to the dmv? she may have been married at one time and forgot to update her driver license or voter registration form so that the middle names are not the same.

Nope, she's using her middle name as her last. Middle names do not change with marriage. That involved giving false information on an official state form, a felony in most states. Remember, she's a judge, she should know this.

You only say that when judges rule in a manner you disagree with. If SCOTUS had overturned the entire ACA as unconstitutional you wouldn't have said **** about judicial activism.

First, they wouldn't have done that - a strawman altogether. They would have ruled against certain provisions (which btw was the case they were adjudicating). I think Peter is fairly consistent in calling out judicial overreach.

Absolute rubbish. College students have ID (can't get a student loan or student housing or classes without it) and the only young people who don't are those who aren't yet old enough to vote. Elderly people have ID, we use it for everything. Low income people have ID, they cannot get benefits without it. And the catchall, "historically oppressed minorities", that's code for black folks and is covered by all the other categories.

What you're referring to isn't universal across all states. An I.D. is not necessarily required to enroll in classes on campus. Elderly people do have I.D. but sometimes the I.D. they have is ruled insufficient. Historically opressed minority, is just that: historically oppressed minority /=Black.

It may not be required but you usually get one for being enrolled, even my high school has them. Students usually also have a driver's license and everyone usually has a birth certificate or are able to get a passport.
