Putin: Gays welcome at Olympics, just "leave children in peace"

I'm gay.... and I do not think he was being hateful or being a bigot tward gays... I think it was just his personal opinion from what he has seen in his past... Personally I dislike the gay movement in america I think it hurts other countrys progress to making it legal does that make me hate my fellow gays? no...?

I'm from vietnam and I am homosexual. my country is making steps to legalize gay marriage but overall people don't really care it is taboo but not hated (I've havent had many problems in vietnam other then a few looks and questions) americas gay movement often hurts other countrys to legalize it with idiots doing exactly what Mr.Nick was talking about. Many gay and lesbian events are disgusting and I wish they would stop

wait what? Russia is allowing gays to be at the olympics but to keep away from the children. this might be due to americas disgusting display of gay pride so.... yes it completely has to do with the topic at hand

Gay pride is strongly linked with gay pride. and america supports many disgusting gay pride events unsuitable for children. Putin may not want the children of his country to see it. there is a connection there
