Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]
Er, he hasn't shared them yet. Duh. He wants immunity. He's in trouble because there is a crime he could be charged with. He's holding it close to his vest at this point. We'll see if he is granted immunity at some point coming up.
Or maybe they'll offer immunity to Bridget, who is up her eyeballs, and was publicly humiliated before the world. She has no loyalties to CC as she did before. As one writer has put it: David Wildstein can sing but Bridget Kelly knows the song.
Why do you think she would "go rogue?' No one has been able to answer me that. What would her motivation be?
Two fired. Plus three resigned. More to come.
As exists in many high power, high profile positions, sometimes you have people around you, trying to make a name for themselves, in doing things they think you'll appreciate, even if you knew nothing about it...IMHO, you libs have a better argument with the "culture" surrounding Christie then you do trying to "frog march" him for a press moment...But it really goes to show you how vindictive liberals are when people don't agree with them lock step.
Two fired. Plus three resigned. More to come.
All casualties from the fall-out. Self-induced casualties? Perhaps. The investigation has only just begun.
Yes, he led...Wish we could say the same for Obama.
These are all people CC hired or appointed. Are you saying CC is that inept and has such poor judgement he hires a pack of liars and scoundrels? That's the other side of the sword you are trying to swing. Can't have it both ways.
No, I am saying that the disgruntled employee is not someone I would call objective, and honest after they got fired. Talk about 'having it both ways', these two were fired for possible criminal acts, and you want Christie so bad that you immediately believe anything they imply without evidence....
No, he hasn't, but those emails are pretty damaging. We'll see where the information from the subpoenaed records lead to...They are due today. But they'll likely be delayed and/or stonewalled. We've already seen evidence of that.
Yes, he did, but I am sure that the only narrative that will be accepted by you is that CC is guilty. If not by actual evidence, then by smear, and innuendo.
This is an actual scandal with evidence involving what was once the most popular rising political star and potentially the next GOP candidate for President. He was a potential VP pick last election, and he is Chairman of the Republican Governor's Association.
No, this was a traffic jam...Or, if you will, a Tuesday on the GW. The only reason you display his resume is because you want to somehow infer that by being a republican, he must be guilty....That's bs, but I understand, you have nothing else.
It's too bad you think it should be relegated to soap opera status. Some of us think -- scratch that -- know this is real news involving corruption in the Office of a major player in the political world. There's no getting around that.
No, it's a soap opera....You want to know what a scandal is....Read up on any of these...
Fast and Furious
IRS
NSA
Benghazi
Unilateral appointment while congress was not in recess
Sidestepping congress on Dream act
Crony capitalism from the Oval office
Take your pick, anyone of those are REAL scandals that are being stonewalled by your President currently, in varying degrees. And the difference is that this corruption is brought to us by progressive liberal demo's in the highest office in the land, not some Governor of a state, that had people causing traffic jams....Give me a break...
