BBC News - Iraq conflict: Sunni fighters 'control all of Fallujah'

Iraqi Government has lost control of the strategic town of Fallujah. Local tribesmen allied with al-Qaeda and now hold the town. Sadly its going to be upto the people of Iraq now to fight back against these terrorist groups, the prime minister vowing

"We will not back down until we end all terrorist groups and save our people in Anbar."
However he withdrew troops from the area and late on Saturday, eyewitnesses said al-Qaeda militants were in evidence on the streets of Fallujah, riding pick-up trucks mounted with anti-aircraft guns.

This really saddens me. It looks like more and more everyday that all of my fellow Marines that gave their lives to secure places like this have died in vain. I'm not advocating that we go back, but you would think the Iraqi government could at least hold them at bay. We totally eradicated Fallujah, Ramadi, etc of these idiots and now they're back so strong that they totally took over a city as large as Fallujah? That's ridiculous.
