I'm just wondering what he means by scam. Does he mean that solar panels don't convert the sun's light into electricity?

Solar is wonderful, I am hoping to equip my house with it in a few years. Gotta get a new roof first...but I want to set up the foundations, and every few months, add in a few new panels. Where I live, 300+ days of blazing sunshine, it works here.

Well, maybe we shouldn't stand by and let other assholes take the charge forward in space, as we seem content to do now. I don't know if you've noticed, but we're not exactly rushing to colonize other planets at the moment. The operating budget for NASA in 2013 was 3.5 billion dollars. Not shabby, but the military is getting 630 billion, so it's not hard to see where are priorities are.

Mornin' Cardinal. :2wave: Not to mention the Chinese aren't letting any doubt they were there. As they had the Rover take a pic of the ship and the Ship take a pic of the Rover.

Do you think they got the rover to put up their Chinese Flag?

Either way this is significant as China now gets to be a member of the Space Club......Wonder when the Europeans will get their act together and one of those countries attempt to do something in space.

Looks like we will be contending with the both the Russians and Chinese.....as usual without any support from those Europeans, huh?

They should have be thinking about a new Space Station and to Orbit inbetween the Earth and the Moon. We will need a new one anyways. Plus a safety net sort of.

Although.....we should tell all that treaty don't apply now.

Moreover the Europeans shouldn't have anything to say. When they can land on the Moon then they can talk.

We need to be leading the way and looking to perpetuate our own.
 
Howdy MMC, All I know is that if we accomplished a soft landing in 1969 with astronauts walking and driving around on the moon on dinasour computer tech, we should have a colony/colonies on the lunar surface by now!

Mornin' Monte. :2wave: Seems our focus was taken elsewhere.....I keep hearing about the money problems of doing this.

Well.....I do have a solution. Anytime we get into a conflict for others.....they will pay protection fees. Then there is extortion, theft and robbery, and straight up gangsterisms.

Now this I would do to some Nefarious groups out there and as well as other countries. Say like the Saudi, Qatari, Kuwaitis, and anybody that has money.

Remember.....the Federation will require a President who must reflect Power. :lol:
