Texas teen Ethan Couch gets 10 years' probation for deadly DWI crash - CNN.com

Wait a kid can go get drunk and murder four people and not be charged for it because he is too rich? :doh I am so angry about this surely we cannot use someones upbringing to excuse crimes, I blame alot of crimes on bad upbringing but that does not excuse the crime in question.... why should we put people in jail that has abusive parents who didnt teach them to follow the rules? yet let a really rich kid walk free because "He was so rich he believed money solved all of his problems"

I believe this has already been posted.

However, it makes me see where "Spare the rod, spoil the child" is relevant. He was apparently never told he was in the wrong.

A liberal judge strikes again and they say you can't get away with murder.

Nah....you can get away with murder.
If you've got enough money for lawyers, that is.

Jesus... And that's my home town...

I think there's more to it - I fully believe the judge was paid off by that kid's family.

Teens who STEAL and buy drugs are given more than that.

I'm interesting in her ruling history - I bet you she's been more harsh with other 'kids'

I'm sorry I didnt see this has been posted when I looked. I'll try to make sure I don't **** up like this again

I have a question. if his mental illness is that he can get away with anything because he has money. Him not going to jail and being able to walk just verifys in his mind that he is untouchable by the law right? I just can't make any sense of this....

How could he get 10 years probation if, as you think, he was never charged?

How can I get that disease?

Affluenza.

I hope there is no cure for it.

I find the search features to be difficult on occasion so, I tend to search for articles manually. Not a big deal, the Mods usually fix it.

From your article:
..Judge Rozak said the case wasn't just about a dog urinating on a lawn but about a man reacting to "being yelled at, pushed and punched in the face by a 23-year-old man."..

What does "black" fellas stand your ground case have to do with all this ?

Trying to show us all how black and white thing are ?

The folks getting in a twist about Ethen Couch are the same cats that wanted Zimmerman to go to prison.

He also injured 9. The victims need to sue the crap out of his parents

They likely will and the dad's company since the kid was driving that company's truck. ;)

He got punched in the face, you should be worshiping as a hero of the second amendment.

I do. I'm just curiius why the Libbos didn't get sand in their clits over it. Oh, wait, he's black. My bad, Deuce.

Though completely untrue as far as I'm concerned, you make a good point linking COUCH and ZIMMERMAN, since they're both killers .

What makes you think justice will be served with lawsuits??
I can see him divesting and heading off-shore..

Couch has already gotten away with vehicular homicide .
