Costco labels bibles "Fiction"

This is just another example of the Lefts War on Christianity.

Islam didn't exist when Jesus was supposedly around. So taking their belief in the existence of a Jesus as proof of anything is a fallacy. In 800C.E., the consensus was that there was no land other than Asia, Africa & Europe. In 1200 BC, this was still the consensus. Is that proof that there is no land other than Europe, Asian & Africa? No. A belief remaining in place for centuries does not mean it is true.

Very good that you know that. That further proves my point. There was obviously solid evidence and common knowledge that he existed for Islam to recognize him as a profit.

How do you know? Why would they do it?

Costco is a Leftist company that has given Democrats millions in order to push individual business out of business...

There isn't a single contemporary eyewitness account of him, no. While there may have been an itinerant Jewish preacher at the time upon whom godhood was posthumously draped, the guy depicted in the Bible simply did not exist.

Except for Matthew and John, for example, yet you conveniently don't trust them.

I think they just screwed up.

It's well known that the Gospels were not written by the people whose names are on them.

So again, present any demonstrably contemporary eyewitness accounts of Jesus. You can't do it. They don't exist.

Me too... but what did they screw up? Nothing IMO. I was just making up crap about the Leftist stuff too, though I do think that they bowed to what they would have seen as negative backlash about some Christian that might complain and make it front page news, or something. Keep it there. No big deal.

I'm cool with you labeling them a "Leftist company" as they pay their employees extremely well and provide them with exceptional benefits. :peace

All in an effort to steam roll over smaller businesses, drive them out of business and then force a monopoly onto consumers...

Because the oral tradition renders anything garbage. I guess that they were right about the Iliad being complete fiction, oh wait!

It isn't that interesting at the moment...

WE know thanks to all that high tech spying we do. We are liberals, we can make it better. Just stock up on soap to drop in the shower, and a good water based lube and you will be having more fun than ever!

Then it wouldn't be interesting and it would be disgusting...

About him? That's definitely open to debate. However, it's a known fact that a man, who was considered a profit, named Jesus of Nazareth lived. The Christians wrote of his existence, the Romans wrote of his existence and the Muslims wrote of his existence.

Historicity of Jesus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yes, they wrote of his existence. Which is why I said he probably did exist.

Other people wrote about a guy who built an ark and put way, way too many animals on it before the entire world flooded. This never happened.

How does paying employees more than minimum wage and offering health insurance drive out smaller businesses?

Do you understand how fallacies work? Here is how your fallacy currently works: Group X believes Y. Group Z also believes Y. Because both groups believe Y, the belief must be true and based on evidence. However, neither group provides evidence for Y other than a circular reasoning (i.e. it's true because we believe in it, we believe in it because it's true) and you're relying on an argumentum ad populum (that being: it's true because many people believe in it). All without ever providing a shred of tangible evidence. It has been a pleasure destroying your argument.
