Do you see the irony of this post or did you purposely do it?
Snort!
Guilty as charged!
Well done.

Interesting logic.
Based on this, then we should all embrace the unfettered spying of all of our communications by the NSA.
I'll pass on the unencumbered technology acceptance.
There are positive and negative repercussions of every issue - intelligent folks try and understand both sides when rendering judgement.
You should try it yourself.
That doesn't logically follow at all. We actually refer to that as a straw man argument. Attribute something to me that I didn't say, and then knock that down.
There are positive and negative repercussions to every issue....gee thanks. Is that what all your years of wisdom and learning have taught you? Golly.
Well you know, our buddies at the NSA probably are monitoring this very website. How does that make you feel? This is a political website, and they're probably checking in quite often to see if there's anyone crazy enough to talk about bombing a building or killing the president or something.
Just in case you thought we were having a private conversation or something.
But you know what? Who gives a ****. Got nothing to hide, and can't make them stop anyway, so you just keep on keeping on. And that was really my point all along, wasn't it, gramps?
Shame on the business owner for being a technophobic luddite. No one appears to have complained. This is just an example of someone being unprepared to adapt to the realities of new technology. People like him will crop up, but as people of my generation continue to fan out into wider society they will disappear.

Anyone could be looking like they are just checking their E-mail on their I Phone while surreptitiously taking video of you stuffing your face.It has the capability to record people without their knowledge and then upload it to social media sites. I wouldn't want that in a restaraunt either if I was eating there. Some toys belong at home or they need to be adults and put them away when going into a big boy place.

You want the restaurant owner to ban ALL cell phones from his restaurant?
New technology = unwarranted fear and paranoia.:lamo
You are on camera virtually all the time when you are out in public. Stores, cabs, buses, subways, just walking down the street...smile you're on candid camera...everywhere.Why don't you see a difference in a device that has to be pointed in a direction and another device that turns with the turn of the head.
Things could be recorded that the recorder didn't intend, but he still can upload it without the persons permission.
By the way, if it comes to that where people do not feel safe in a restaurant because there are people recording other patrons, all devices will be banned. Is that what you people want?

if it's about secretive videoing (all i could come up with from the article), it's probably about privacy, not technology. This is seattle and that is a trendy, well-off area of seattle. Everyone here is messing with 'new technology' all the time in public.
Maybe we shouldn't be surprised by what we are seeing posted by the younger posters.
They are the same ones that think "online romances" (there is an oxymoron if I have ever seen one) are real.
Do you know what an online romance was before the computer age?
