Militia group calls for Obama's assassination

And then you have Timothy McVeigh.

And James Huberty, who shot up a McDonalds in 1984.
And the Fort Hood shooter.
And Mark Barton, who offed his family and killed nine more in a brokerage house shooting in 1999.
And several others.

It's easy to pigeonhole mass shooters as the product of being pampered "******s" if you simply ignore all the shooters that don't fit the desired profile.

And then you have Timothy McVeigh.

McVeigh was a strange one. He's not from my generation. When he was born I was just about to enter the Marine Corps.

To things stand out, Timothy McVeighs father should have looked for girly panties in his son's dresser drawer. It seems Timothy McVeigh didn't get a woody over girls. And when Timothy McVeigh found himself losing at anything he felt like a loser in life.

McVeigh seem to have become a gun nut. Maybe if he had gone through the gun stage with toy guns, BB guns and a .22 rifle before entering high school, he would have turned out like an average boy, losing that interest in the guns that shoot lead and turning attention to that gun between his legs and girls.

This pansy thinking that he could become a Green Beret and only doing 50 push-ups. :lamo

When I graduated from high school, I could do a hundred push-ups. If I remember correctly a senior (male) in high school when taking the JFK Presidential physical fitness test, 65 push-ups was the goal, or JFK would roll over in his grave.

(Look back during the Vietnam war, how many were rejected for military service because they couldn't pass the minimum PFT ? Very few. I don't know of anyone who was rejected. Today it's 50%.)

When McVeigh failed to pass the Green Beret's PFT, he couldn't handle losing. The rest is history.

Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were two individuals out of almost 300 million people in America.

Now if you buy too much bull #### at your local nursery, the owner is suppose to drop a dime and call Big Sis or who ever is the next incompetent second rate person Obama decides to replace her.

That is funny because I enlisted in 1970 and during the first week of boot camp they let a Chinese American kid from
San Francisco go home because he was legally blind. Of course nobody got rejected at the initial physical screening as we took everyone.

I remember there was this one recruit in my platoon who had painful arc syndrome. It wasn't noticed until it was discovered he couldn't do jumping jacks.

Back then there were so many trying every thing possible of staying out of the military. Remember the movie "Alice's Restaurant" ?

The last thing we need is for someone to turn Obama into a martyr.
He is a lame duck, and the clock is running.
Great friggin point. The dude would be viewed in hindsight as "the greatest President that ever lived" and all kinds of other hogwash. The guy sucks, most people that voted for him know it, and it will probably cause the Dems to lose the next Presidential election. As long as the GOP (who suck as well) stay in power in the House, at least we know nothing he wants to get done will pass. Then maybe we can get someone who will act like an adult, regardless of party, in the White House. I'd take Hillary over him at this point. At least we know her husband will advise her to compromise on SOMETHING.

If obama was really scared of being killed by racists, he could have simply made a mexican his vice president.... but still.... please dont kill obama. Not that i care if he lives or dies..... i jist dont want joe biden to be president.

Revolution is not protected by the Constitution, in fact, to revolt you have to sideline the Constitution in the first place.
The Constitution has been sidelined by the federal government. We can restore it via the Article V fight.

Nearly all revolutions go poorly. It remains an option but all who participate will be traitors. And quite possibly patriots. So it was at the beginning of this nation.

Christian militia calls for Obama

The Christian American Patriots Militia is openly calling for the assassination of President Barack Obama on their Facebook page. The Christian militia calls Obama a “dictator,” and claims the “authority to kill Obama comes from the 2nd Amendment of our Constitution.”

Scumbags.

Arrest them all

They definitely should be detained, prosecuted and then imprisoned. While I am all for liberty and our Constitution, what those people were wanting to do is not only immoral, but ignorant and critically short-sighted. In the post-9/11 U.S., if a sitting President was assassinated by a militia based in the U.S., there would be disastrous consequences on law-abiding gun-owning Americans, particularly those affiliated with militias or anything in the ballpark of anti-government.

Are you really trying to ascribe McVeigh's motivations and personal character to an effeminate personality and a lack of proper gun culture? You also managed to rope Obama in. Dude come on.

Christian American Patriots Militia? There's a ton of oxymorons in that phrase.

There is no call for threats against ANY President.

I didn't like it when they threatened Bush, and I don't like it now.

Our style of Government provides for the legal removal of any Politician and thats through the ballot box.

Oh, but he does! ;)

CHRISTIAN AMERICAN PATRIOTS MILITIA ?

Maybe you would like to point out the "oxymoron" then ?

Because now I'm not surs YOU know what a Oxymoron is.

To me the biggest contradiction in terms would be that 'christian' and 'american', depending upon a number of factors, could be mutually excluding. That is, recognizing our Judeo-Christian heritage (the software capitalized the words, not I) but being familiar with constitutional principles, 'secular American militia' might be more appropriate.

These people blame Obama and liberalism for the sun going down at night. But at least it's fun to watch them twist themselves into a pretzel trying to justify it.

I might point out the fact that Jesus probably wasn't a fan of militias.

I think you need to be weary on punishing entire groups of people based on the posting and editings of a small few. Whoever is responsible is despicable but maybe not everyone know about this? Blanket punishments is a dangerous precedent.

Blanket punishments lead to large backlashes.

Let's say that said group belongs to larger network. Now, there's a problem.

Really? Didn't he tell his followers to sell their cloaks and buy swords, which were the infantryman's standard issue individual arm?
What would those arms be for if not for a militia-style defense?

You don't know what your'e talking about.

ox·y·mo·ron noun
: a combination of words that have opposite or very different meanings

The definition of a oxymoron doesn't include your obscure and arbitrary personal opinions.

Words like " Jumbo Shrimp " or phrases like " A fine mess" where the definition of the words included are universal, and not dependent on some twisted liberals perceptions.

Now, try to educate yourself a bit before running head long into public embarrassment.....again.
