House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder[W:65]

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

That's a load of crap if I ever heard one. I don't give a **** if he's from MARS. Who the **** do you think you are?

The amendment process is a tacit admission that the document is NOT flawless.

Grow up.

The response I expected.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Remember when The Obama/Holder administration chose NOT to come after the previous admin. with corrupt I$$a's so the Nation could come together..

The only legacy Obama will eventually have is one of a GOP "just say no" sabotage, which will continue for 38 more months..
Most books have your 9ers at +3 EV, or NO -3 -120..They are "juicing" NO, forcing you to spend $120 to win $100 back plus your bet..
Interesting to me has the Reno books giving 3.5 to SF, trying to bait the SF and OAK folks to cross state lines and take SF..
AQ safer bet might be over on the over/under, which continues to go up, and is between 47.5 up to 48.5..
I think we could see a 38-34 type game..

They didn't go after the previous administration, necause there was nothing to go after them for.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Pardon me if I don't take your word for it.

Also, MSNBC does not represent "the left," no matter how much people try to claim it does.

The Libbos echo every word that MSNBC broadcasts.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Didn't realize you spent so much time watching MSNBC. How much do you think I watch MSNBC?

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Oh? That's not what Rachael Maddow says several times she has stated she is a representation of the left. Her life is a testimonial to it. Nor Lawrence O'Donnell. But barring them.....can you explain why Chris Matthews Book Hard Ball is required reading for many of those College Universities out East Coast and in DC?

1. IF Rachael Maddow actually says that, which I doubt -- that doesn't make it true. I can say I am a representation of goldfish owners, that doesn't make it so.
2. :Citation needed: on the Matthews book line. Because I don't buy that for a second.

Quite a bit, since I can read everything they say in your posts.

Then you'd be wrong! I don't watch that crap. Cable TV news is pure, hot garbage. Rots your brain.

You apparently spend all your time watching MSNBC, since you seem to know everything they say.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

If conservatives can say "you lie" as the mother of all liars Dick-less Cheeney would say to leftists,
leftists/liberals/progressives/Dems can say with conviction and certainty that GOPs/TEAts/Cons are Racists..

How much further are the rightists willing to go with their rhetoric before they just start shooting,
as the binders of Palin types have warned and advocated .

One of MSNBC's hosts just accused the conservatives of racism today, related to this. They listed all the black members of Obama's group they went after (Holder, Van Jones, etc) while somehow forgetting to mention the white members also - Sebelius for one - while making it clear she was accusing them of racism.. So, it's already happened.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Thats what the Libbs keep saying...eh?

Liberal don't like following the Constitution, because they think they're smarter than the guys that wrote it.

It's an accurate statement. Was just today around 2:00 or so.

The individual that first brought it up said he would be labeled a racist and he was. No mention of the left - even though I am sure this host was a member of the left - was ever made.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Just because we "accept" it doesn't mean we have to like it. I agree with Jet -- Congress, as it stands right now, should not be allowed to sit in judgement of anyone.

If it is flawless, why is there an amendment process?

The endless wanking over the Constitution, as if it's a Bible or something, never ceases to amuse me. It's a great document. However, it was written by men, flawed men. It is NOT flawless, it is NOT perfect, and it never will be.

Jet...as in Jet Boogie? What's his dog in the fight?

Hello, Linc......or should I refer to you as Prof. Las Vegas?
I'm pretty worried about this game.
Especially with our sputtering offense.
But we beat 'em in the dome last year...GO NINERS!!

"A member of the left"? What does that even mean? Are they issued identification cards? Is there a secret handshake?

WHY DO YOU PEOPLE INSIST "THE LEFT" IS SOME SORT OF ****ING HIVEMIND?

So you have no idea who this guy was, but he must be some evil lefty dadgummit, and he brought it up in a way that you've managed to make even more unclear ... I literally have no idea what's going on here right now.

Here.....this is from the Woman's Conference. Did you need another on his Book Hard Ball being required reading for colleges? See all that background he touts. Pretty much defines what MSDNC is all about.

Matthews worked for fifteen years as a newspaper journalist, thirteen of them as a Washington bureau chief for the San Francisco Examiner and two as a national columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. Before that, he had a fifteen year career in public service: in the U.S. Senate for five years for Senator Frank Moss of Utah and Senator Edmund Muskie of Maine; in the White House for four years under President Jimmy Carter as a presidential speechwriter and on the President’s Reorganization Project then for six years as the top aide to Speaker of the House Thomas P. “Tip” O’Neill, Jr.

Matthews has received the David Brinkley Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism and the Gold Medal Award from the Pennsylvania Society. He was a visiting fellow at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy Institute of Politics and holds nineteen honorary degrees.

His first book, Hardball (1988) is required reading in many college-level political science courses.....snip~

Thank you for this utterly pointless, content-free addition to the conversation.
Kobie, it is satisfying in my 59-YOA to be on the side of doing good things for poor folks and uninsured..

It took 6 years for any Social Security money to reach those who needed it or qualified..

We have binders of administrative fixes in the last Century of our Modern times for ACA-type programs..

Chris Matthews

See, that wasn't so hard. Although a few searches on Google seem to find a few instances as opposed to many.

Of course, it's a 25-year-old book, and I've never read it (and I'd guess you haven't either). It was written long before MSNBC existed, when Matthews was actually still IN POLITICS (he was a speechwriter in the Carter admin and was Tip O'Neill's chief of staff, among other roles) as opposed to being in journalism.

How far will this GOP House go in the next 38 months??
Why are they REALLY going after Holder??
Could it be Holder is going after the very states, sponsored by these GOP members for impeachment, with anti-voting laws that will go the SCOTUS??

Don't know how far they will get with this,
but I gotta say, it's about time someone started going after this corrupt administration.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

"A member of the left"? What does that even mean? Are they issued identification cards? Is there a secret handshake?

Really? A member of the left would be someone that is of the political left, most likely a democrat.. but possibly even a socialist or green party member. Before you ask, a member of the right would be someone that is of the political right, most likely republican, but possibly libertarian. An example of someone that is a member of the right? Brit Hume.

So you have no idea who this guy was, but he must be some evil lefty dadgummit,

No, I never watch MSNBC. I only had it on for a few minutes. Turns out it was Karen Finney - she was a press secretary for Hilary Clinton's team and the director of communications of the DNC - so yes... a lefty.

and he brought it up in a way that you've managed to make even more unclear ...

She was calling them racist. Clear enough? I went searching just for you and you can see her show from here: Disrupt With Karen Finney on msnbc

The comment occurs while she is talking about the "gang of 20 tries to impeach Holder".

I literally have no idea what's going on here right now.
Since you don't even know what a member of the left would be.. That doesn't surprise me too much.

That's right, plus all those damn civil rights get in their way of forcing Liberalism on America. Remember Ibama referring that, "messy democracy"?

Yeah, I didn't get off into to it in depth but I checked out a few things back then. Course then even while working for Those Democrats......Chrissy wasn't as rabid about them he is his with Obama. You have to understand.....he has been eating the Powdered form since the Beginning of Obama in 2006. :2razz:

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

So you just said in your post that a person who identifies himself as a liberal on this Debate Politics forum does not like following the constitution!!
You said we think we are smarter than the guys who wrote the Constitution!!
Imagine if a liberal said anything like this to a conservative!!
What is your definition of a liberal with respect to every issue and subissue??
Are you a perfect conservative and what does that even mean ?
Liberal don't like following the Constitution, because they think they're smarter than the guys that wrote it.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Liberal/leftist=Anyone who doesn't agree with everything a "conservative" says.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

What does this "Matthews eating powderede form" even mean??
Is this debate worthy of DP??
he has been eating the Powdered form since the Beginning of Obama in 2006
House GOP introduce resolution to impeach AG Holder!!
Nothing is introduced without Leadership approval--meaning Can'tor..
Should the House GOP just declare Martial Law and seize power from Obama ?
