If all three branches of government approve a law, and the majority of the voters approve of those approvals, then you gotta live with it. That's what being part of a Republic is all about.

Actually they are much better at politics than Dems. Reps are very good at messaging, branding, and enacting their ideas. Overall their ideas tend to be a bit detrimental and Americans get tired of them. Democrats are the weak willed, mealy mouthed do-nothings but are generally better stewards of the country. Dems rarely win on their good ideas. Dems win on the bad ideas/actions of Republicans.

What is false is your understanding of the economy and the economic numbers. GDP Grew from 9.9 trillion to 14.4 trillion in the 8 years of Bush, the highest increase in GDP in history. We had a booming economy with the Republicans in charge from 2003-2006 as BEA.gov and BLS. will show you. What continues to be quite telling is the reality that we had a 10.6 trillion dollar debt on January 21, 2009 and it is 17.1 trillion now. That is reality, a reality that you want to ignore

There is nothing that I have posted that is false but doubt most liberal Obamabots will understand that nor do they want to.

That shows the GDP growing for the first 7 years of pres Bush in charge, losing growth at the end of his 8th year, and plummeting sharply into negative growth as Obama took charge.

But growth rate does not equal overall growth, just the % change.

there is lots of truth to this. I ultimately view myself as an independent with fiscally conservative leanings, but when the repubs make hay over a candidate supporting the idea of evolution I just end up tuning anything else they say out. I just can't cast a vote for someone who is going to echo such nonsense, be it blatant pandering or not

Get someone to help you read the chart, looks pretty good up to 2008 and not so good based upon the dollars spent by this Administration. You do understand the components of GDP? Didn't think so, figure it out and get back to me then tell me why there are 3 million fewer people employed today than when the recession began, BLS.gov numbers, after 6.5 trillion was added to the debt? Percentage change means nothing.

As you go through life, I hope you come to the realization that we live in a very complicated political environment and that wearing a label and waving a pennant with the team logo on it matching the one on your beanie is not for everyone. Some people are a bit more complicated that the stereotype.

It shows the economy rapidly recovering up until 2004 and then diving to the depths of unheard of levels thereafter. That's three years of accelerating growth and 4 years of deceleration, followed by a year of extreme contraction. Obama, OTOH, has shown accelerated improvement after six months in office and nothing but growth after a year in office. In other words, my graph shows Conservative's assertion in post 408 to be full of ****.
