I heard on the news today that one reason the president is standing fast on the implementation dates and will not extend the deadline is the insurance companies who went along with the ACA are really pushing the president hard against it. They need their money now, not 6 months or a year from now as they are now insuring are these folks with pre-existing condidtions which is causing them to lose money without the input of the healthy invinceables. This was reported on our 24hours news radio channel, a Cumulus broadcasting company. Not Fox. It seems to make sense, but I haven't heard any of this on the other news outlets.
You've hit the key point in this. Those in immediate need are signing up, and they'll be drawing from the funds received just as immediately and in high dollar amounts.
Those who are not in immediate need aren't signing up, and they're the ones needed to float the note.
