Head of the Pakistani Taliban Killed by US Drone Strike

I hope all future wars are fought with drones. I'd rather have our soldiers safely tucked away, operating the drones and guns and missiles, with a wobble stick, drinking a Mountain Dew.

I find it puzzling that most of the drone critics seem to be conservatives. Their sympathy for the terrorists and softness on the fight against terrorism is so out of character.

I wonder why that is?

Ok let me walk you through it.

1. First you must support your statement. Prove that the 'Taliban' has grown. Which group, which affiliate are you talking about, and how are you measuring their size?

2. Recognize your correlation equals causation mistake. Even if the Pakistani Taliban it is not an argument to say "Drone strikes have continued and they've grown, therefore they are related." I've been eating more fruits and vegetables over roughly the same time period, how do you know my consumption isn't the cause of this uptick? It certainly correlates.

3. Explore the many possibilities for this growth and then support why despite no evidence you think drones are the cause.

These people are fanatics, they will fight to the last man and because they are religious crazies, they have a virtually endless number of fighters willing to step up, die for Allah and win their 72 virgins. These people do not think about things rationally, they are positive they have their god on their side.

I would argue that anyone who is out shooting at other human beings has lost something fundamental inside, so no, I don't think you won either. You survived.

No, I won. I have a six figure job because of my experiences and I enjoyed my experiences there (Iraq and Mindanao, in my case) to such an extent that every couple years I volunteer every few years to go out to those locations.

So apparently not everyone lost. This will require critical thinking, as opposed to just a blanket statement that now you want to defend to ridiculous extents in order to protect your viewpoint. Did you mean every nation-level actor?

It's easier to take them out at 50 at a time then one at a time anyway. Those who have considered fighting for the glory of a religious fanatic might also be reconsidering their options.

What are you saying? That the Islamic aggressors are fighting to win but a free people shouldn't. I wouldn't worry too much abut 'international distaste'.
